I was wondering if Brain Lumley had ever written any books with strong ties to the Cthulhu Mythos?

I read somewhere that he had strong influence from H.P Lovecraft's works.

KingOfChaos,

First, let me say welcome to the board!

Yes, Brian has a LOT of work with ties to the Cthulhu Mythos. Off the top of my head I can think of the Titus Crow stories (6 novels, I believe along with numerous short stories), the Hero/Eldin stories (set in HPL's Dreamworld) and his Primal Land stories.

IMHO, the Titus Crow works are more along the lines of the traditional CM stories (if there is such a thing) and these are my favorites. However, his Dreamworld and Primal Land stories are also great. If you like Brian's other stuff, you'll like these.

Hope to hear more of you soon! http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/biggrin.gif</font>

the Lumley creations Kthanid and Yibb-Tstll appear in Call of Cthulhu game books. Its odd that according to Brian's own description, Yibb-Tstll has no mouth, but the illustration of the deity in the core game book does.
