Saw this new incarnation of the caped crusader last night, all in all a pretty good attemt at taking the dark knight back to his roots as it were, and making him a much darker and menacing figure.

Thought it was extremely slow to start and did go a little trippy in parts but managed to hold itself together long enough to produce a pretty good film.
And the sequel is already set up as well but I won't say anything about that!!!

Any Bat freaks should check it out it's not to bad...

Bale's from the next town over from me so all the local papers are littered with articles on the 'small town boy made good'...

I can't take him seriously though - Batman with a speech impediment? Bah!

How can you say that - I checked - there's no Shark-Repellent Bat-Spray!

Are you saying you didn't enjoy it?

I haven't actually seen it yet so don't know if I'll think its good or bad but always good to get another opinion.

Not seen it but seriously looking forward to it... Even if Batman's got a lisp...

Ah, but you cannot only be mentioning Bale now can you. Who can forget Gary Oldman and Liam Neeson? *drools*

And without seeing the flick, I must ask: is the lisp because of his created american accent or just plain a lisp? (not remembering Little Women much....nor Shaft)
