Just thought I'd put up my thoughts on the 1st series as the finale is tonight in the UK.
IMO it's been one of the best tv series in years and I've throughly enjoyed it and was just wondering what the rest of the world thought about it...4 8 15 16 23 32

Gutted that it's coming to a close though and I'll have to wait around 8 months for series 2 aaahhhhh

Although this blow has been slighly softened by the timely arrival of Smallviles new series yay grin.gif ...

I caught season 1 through hmm I think 3 episodes of 2 from WinAmp ShoutCast TV a few weeks back as most times my channels are borked (yeah I am a dinosaur on antenna!) to watch it on regular TV.

It is quite different, and season 2 still makes it an interesting watch.

With the Tick Tock (heh heh) and the other oddness of the island, it is one that I'll probably watch until it's done.

You all aren't as far back on this series as you usually are eh? What, about a half year maybe? Most times European TV is at least a year or more behind in the series we have over here.

And no getting spoilers from me!

Tonight it starts back up with two hour of new stuff since before the holidays.

Even I've been hooked by this... recorded the very last epiode last night (past my bedtime!) so have that to look forward to tonight.

From what I've heard, season 2 is even better.

I must be the only person in the world who hasn't been watching this!

Though I have been told that it has been compared to Twin Peaks as something totally different and wierd and hard to follow. As I said I haven't been watching it so I don't know how true that is, if at all!

I never watched Twin Peaks so I can't compare the two.
Different it is. I wouldn't say it's wierd and I wouldn't say it's hard to follow.
I think so many people have so many different ideas of what going on and are reading to much into different things that happen that it's making it seem hard to follow.

Then again, maybe I'm missing alot.

Being you only miss the first season I'd give it a try.
And I'm sure it'll be released on DVD soon if not already

I'm 10 episodes into season 2 of this and it just gets better and better. I can't remember enjoying a program as much as this for years. Each time I think I have got this figured out they throw another curve and completely debunk my theories. After a hiatus of about a year where there were no decent programs on it seems as if the USA is churning out some great series. I'm enjoying Lost,Supernatural, Surface, Threshold, Invasion, SG1,SG Atlantis,The 4400 and looking forward to watching Bones too.....
