View Full Version : A Big Thank You for the Site

I just wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to making this site the way that it is (the moderators, Forum Leaders, and posters). I realize what hard work goes into creating a website.... (My father is currently trying to make one and is up late almost every night). You all couldn't have done a better job.
I am sorry if the environment lately has encouraged some people to slow down their posts. I apologize for my contribution to that and promise to be more mindful next time. http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yeah, Misty, this is a great site. I thought it was good before, then Shadoe went and re-did it, and it was even better! Great job, Shadoe!

I was going to post my own thankyou, but came across this, so I'll do it here. I have read in the archives where you have been praised for this also, ShadoeWolfe, but I didn't get to have my say!
When I first got hooked on these books, I was like many of you; I couldn't find anything on Brian Lumley. This site is the best thing around. Not only is there more information than I ever hoped to know about the Man and his works, but there is also this messageboard where the warped can discuss them! I wish it would have been around 10 years ago, but I'm glad it's finally here. New addicts will have nooo trouble learning about Mr. Lumley, and it's much easier to recruit them now.
Thanks so much to all who make and made this happen!!

Thank you for the site. Since finding it and reading the back issues of the newsletter (from issue 1) I have learned a great deal about Brian Lumley and his other works. I am now an avid Brian Lumley collector. Now if only I had a list of all of his works it would make collecting easier.

Get the list up on your WAP cell phone, next time you're in the local bookshop.

Aye, a large thanks goes out to the creator of the site, The Master of the Aerie, Lord Shadoewolfe!
Untill I found this site, I thought I was pretty much the only fan around. Good to know that there are others, and much thanks to Shadoewolfe for providing us with a way to share our opinions!
Cheers!

This really is an amazing site; I've been on line only a few days and have spent almost all my time here. It's great to see so many fans of Lumley coming together like this, and the site is so deep and varied I spend hours on it at a time. Thanks to all involved!
