Hi all - bit new to this so be gentle on me - lol.

I'm confused... (a usual state but at least this time there's a focus)...

Tara Khash books/stories... how many? what order? which books? Y'see this site has different lists of the books/stories depending on where you look. Should it be:

a. As listed in the Primal Land series which has House of Cthulhu at the top of the list & no Hrossak! anywhere in sight (which claims to be Tales of a primal land volume 2) or..

b. As listed in the 'reading order' page where Hrossak appears but not where logic would dictate (ie as volume 2).

Does the 'Compleat Tara Khash' really mean in contains all the stories contained in the other books?

You can see where the confusion lies. I've just got my hands on Tara Khash: Hrossak! (e-bay's brill!) but now don't know where it really fits. HELP!!

Steve

PS If anyone has a paperback Lost Years Vol 1 with the George Underwood cover lying about & wants to part with it for a msall fee... please get in touch.

Confusion is because different titles for US and UK.

Giving in reading order ... the UK title first and then the corresponding US title:

1. House of Cthulhu, Tales of the Primal Land Volume One ... is the same as the Ganley edition House of Cthulhu.
2. Tarra Khash: Hrossak!, Tales of the Primal Land Volume Two is the same as the Ganley edition The Compleat Khash: Volume One Never A Backward Glance.
3. Sorcery In Shad, Tales of the Primal Land Volume Three is the same as the Ganley edition The Compleat Khash: Volume Two Sorcery in Shad.

TOR Books USA will start releasing these next year. You'll see news of the publication in the new monthly update the first of February, along with some other new things.

So which came first, Silky? UK or Ganley?

Either edition should rise in value once Tor releases theirs, I should think. Double glad I picked 'em up now for sure! Great, great stories...

Thanks, Tops. I wasn't even aware of another edition until now. Glad I sprung for Ganley!

The Khash stories really are great. It was amazing how they took me back to the Conan stories I read as a kid and even old Louis L'amour (sp?) type adventures. All that to the inth degree!

My one regret is that I didn't read 'em separately, in their 'pulp' form way back when...

I've got an order of Ganley's I'm pricing up now ... available only to UK and Europe. And we are talking extremely reasonable rates. The KeoghCon crowd can vouch for this as they cleaned up from the last Ganley order when they visited us here at the house last September. Right boys & girls?

Anyway, I'll get a post on the board when I can. I'm not going to actually put them in the Store on the site because they aren't going to be around that long, no sense making more work for myself or Shadoe. I'll just tell you in the post what's available and then you can contact me for the price.

You guys in the USA can still get them from Paul at very reasonable rates ... but he's very limited on stock.

Silky, you are talking about Ganley's House of Cthulhu??
I did contact Paul and doesn't have any.

You are correct, he is out of the House but I believe he still has the Khash Volumes. But I have some of those I'll be getting up for sale as soon as I sort out my order. Once I get everything ordered for the shirts, then I've got the hats to work on as well as the Ganley books. Whew, I'm going to be busy for a while...

But TOR will be doing them starting this year...
