It's going to have to be teleportation which is used by a few of the heroes.
Deadspeak I can do without since I will have eternity to talk to the life challenged.
In the physical realm being able to translocate great distances at will is invaluable. It's great for sightseeing, avoiding public transport, Xmas shopping, nipping down to shops for some fa.. er cigarettes. There's really not a downside to it. One could explore outer space using the Mobius Continuum, or take a peak at what's under the Sphinx. If you could open the entry door and exit door at the same time you could just look through at your chosen destination from the comfort of your armchair. It would be a reality browser on the world wide world.

I guess the greatest power to hve would be to be able to distort peoples view of reality, a la Wamphyri... To be able to induce mass hallucinations, convince people that they're insane - or able to fly - or in love with a pale faced, sharp toothed, scarlet eyed, gaunt featured, ugly, proud son of a... That would be very cool...

Are you kidding? Deadspeak for sure! The amount of learning you could achieve! And remeber that Harry "learned" how to teleport with this ability. I just think that since there are so many dead (the great majority) you could learn just about anything. Thats what I am about, learning. Oh and drinking blood, hehe.

Hmmm...
I think it'd be awesome to have teleportation. I've dreamed of having that ability since I was a young one. The evil eye would also be awesome if you could control the potency. You know, just a little pain, enough to get the upper hand. I'd like to use it on my employees! http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/icons/icon12.gif

the GOOF I think the the only power I would really desire to have is the ability to locate... I would love to just figure out which bars my friends are hanging at rather than keep hearing "You shoulda been there". The rest of those powers come with too much responsibility or too many drawbacks.

Hmmm... either deadspeak or necromancy, as either will let you learn the others... only prob is with deadspeak you have to be 'good' or the dead won't talk to you. And with Necromancy you have to know what you're looking for.... so? Maybe the power of mass suggestion, you know, so I can walk into a strip joint and make all the dancers fall in love with me. lol
I'll cast my vote for deadspeak, as it is the ultimate.

Apart from the obvious (necromancy), I think teleportation like Harry would be invaluable. It litteraly opens doors to a world of possibilities http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/wink.gif

Deadspeak by far. You are only limited by your mind

Boris Dragosani's necromancy. Because he can steal other peoples talents. I can't believe anyone said anything else. http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/confused.gif

OK, so how about lucid dreaming... like i the Dreamlands books, to experience another world, to explore and enjoy...
Necroscopy would be too much of a burden, after all Harry did tend to abuse the kindness of the Great Majority, and he did become less human because of it.
Teleportation would be great, as long as you didn't lose your way and end up too close to a star... or too far away...
I still think that manipulation of the minds of others is greater by far, you could get wht you want, when you want and from whoever you want! http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Pybob.. Distorting peoples view of thier surroundings sounds alot like the film The Shadow.
Ehlana.. Why would you need to morph..going by your pic there's nothing you could change that would increase your beauty, and I don't think you would want to go the other way.
As for myself....A simple and humble answer.
To be a Telepath. To read the thoughts of others around you. No more back-stabbing from so called friends. To know if the one you love is the right one, and not a heartless bitch.

Darcys guardian angel, I would like to know that the only thing I'm going to die from is natural causes.

I would want the psycic ability to heal peoples bad feelings. Like a psycic psycologist. Like the chick on Star Trek, the next generation. Either that or necroscope, just so I can learn all the great things Harry and Nathan learned. I just don't have much evil intention in me. In fact I'd be a much better szgany than a thrall or vampire.

To be able to do what my RP character can do. Deadspeak yes, for the knowledge I can learn from others..forever learning, Psionicist, yes for being able to conceal my thoughts whilst I get closer to my enemies *grins*, Necromancer..I would keep it Benign..for now :->

I've just re-read VW 2-The Last Aerie. John Scofield's Telekinetic powers. Maybe not to the point as to create a Nightmare Zone. Just enough to put the shit's up all of the worlds Illusionists (not sure about that spelling!)
