Hello, my brethren and sisterthren across the Atlantic! I am hoping you can help me procure an ancient tome that is not available here in the US due to various space/time continuum law. I am looking for the novel, THE DEVIL RIDES OUT, by Dennis Wheatley. No, it is NOT a Brian Lumley novel. I have those already. Keith Grant-Evans, Shadoe, Peter, and I were discussing favorite horror movies at the WFC and Keith mentioned this Hammer Classic with Christopher Lee and Blofeld (you know, what's his name). I discovered that there was a novel before the film and so I am looking for that novel. The movie was made in 1968 so I imagine the novel is a bit older than that. If any of you can find a copy of the NOVEL for me, I would be more than willing to recompensate you for the novel and for shipping it to me here in the states. Please contact me if any of you come across this literary relic. I think you know how to reach me...

FYI all of Dennis Wheatley's black magic novels are out of print in the UK. If memory serves, they enjoyed a reprint in the early 90s.

Charles 'jump to the left' Gray is the Blofeld actor you're referring to.

Hmm Veriatus, Jason of Khem is a wiz when it comes to Hammer Classics...I'm sure he may pop in here to answer that question..I'll ask him to check if I see him before hand.

I'll have a look in the second-hand book shops in Manchester in the week.
I'm also off to see my GF in Ireland this weekend, so I'll have a look in the shops over there as well to see if I can get hold of a decent copy.
