Right I wanna ask everyone who will be coming tae the next get together if fancy dress is out of the question... I am in the middle of making a Nestor costume ... (Using the picture by Symon Ward i fink)

Great oportunity to come and look at "Her Royal Madge" (The queen, not Madonna), and frighten little mice under chairs etc.

Boy, have I been out of the loop BIG STYLE. Just got back from me' international jet-set bit. Not nice. I've spent time working in the Barcelona office with no internet connection (gasp!) and I've come back paler then I went..., which is good. That's what comes of sitting in cold computer rooms... Least that's what my ma' would say.

That's my plan anyway... Well April is closing fast… What I would like to know is this…. Is there anybody coming from the north of England? i.e. Manchester, Leeds & Sheffield area.

I have priced up the trains… 31 Squid for me… It should roughly be the same for most people coming from this area of England…

the time April 14th, any time after 11.30am
the place the Marlborough Head pub, North Audley Street, off Oxford Street, nr Selfridges. Closest tube station; Bond Street (Central or Jubilee line)

I've said 11.30 as the pub does tend to get a little busy on saturdays. Don't knock yourselves out to get there that early, but I'll be there from that time, for you hardened drinkers! They serve food there, so we won't starve either. I'll probably be in the downstairs bar.

OK, directions from Bond Street tube.... tried posting a map but it went abysmally wrong, so you gotta make some sense from this...!

Exit Bond Street tube station (Central and Jubilee lines) onto Oxford Street, and turn left. Keep walking that way, and you should pass (among other things) an Easy Everything cafe (other side of road), and a book shop, Books Etc. I think, on the corner of Lumley Street... will you remember that! LOL

North Audley Street is on your left hand hand, kinda diagonally opposite Selfridges. There's a Laura Ashley shop on one corner of it (mmm, my favourite - not!) and an American style diner on the other. The Marlborough Head pub is just a little way down, but easily seen from Oxford Street, it's a huuuuge pub! Go down the stairs to the Vault bar... there's loads of little nooks and crannies, but just listen for the most noise, that's where we'll be!!

If you don't trust yourself (or my directions!), and would like me to meet you at Bond Street tube, email me on gothgirl@brianlumley.com and I'll send you my mobile number so we can arrange to meet... Bond Street tube's only about 5 minutes from the pub, so it's no problem. Like I said, I'll be there from 11.30am, but there's no need to be there quite so early... I believe we're receiving a Wacky Yank call around 1-2pm ish, so try to be there for that!
