As much as I and most of you would like to see The Necroscope made into a movie I just don't think its going to happen. If it did happen I just don't see how they could come close to doing it justice. There is just way to much going on. I think House of Doors would be a lot easier to pull off.
1. It could be done in 1 movie. The second book could be left out completly without having much effect on the movie.
2. It has lots of interesting worlds that would make nice eye candy on the big screen.
3. For the most part its less complicated so
it would easier to pull off and pull off well.
4. I'am sure there are a few other reason but I'am running out.
The Dream Hero books would be pretty good too.
1. The 4 books are pretty short so they could be condesed down 2 maybe even 1 movie.
2. It could be made to appeal to the masses pretty easy. It has an interesting plot for the adults and lots of eye candy for the kiddies/adults. I just think its got a lot of stuff that would really be appealling to adults and kids both. Its got flying ships, zombies, termite people, all kinds of interesting creatures, floating cities, and well about everything it takes to make an interesting movie. Aslong as they could keep the graphic violence down and maybe put some cloths on Zura and the Termite queen it could have the kinda of appeal Star Wars does, well maybe not that much but it could do well.
The only problem I can think of would be money. I think it would take a lot of special effects to pull it off well but if it was done right it would be great.
