Actually if it comes down to it, I would be honored to play Wratha! I have the hair, the attitude and my real life parallels <somewhat> with her character... I'm also well endowed. Heck, I'd let my hair grow...again for the part!!! But, I definitely think I should be the one playing Wratha!!

I couldn't play any of them, not even the Szgany, I have blonde hair and blue eyes...doesn't exactly fit many of their descriptions, unless i was Nathans female counterpart!?!

I don`t think anyone should play harry. I don`t think they should make a film. The book was enough, and I think the film would disappoint most fans. It would not live up to the very high expectations.

Well, let's see, didn't Harry's wife have blondish hair and blue-ish eyes?
And as for the movie not living up to the book....they can do so much with computer generated special effects ! And if memory serves me right, from the discriptions of the Wamphyre......borrow some of the costumes from either Star Trek movies or Star Wars! With a little creativity and alterations .......
So , some costumes and a really good makeup crew.....I believe the Necroscope,Vamphyri, could be manipulated to fall into place and slide right into The Source,DeadSpeak,DeadSpawn...then slither into The Last Aerie,Blood Wars Ending with the Lost Years II. But, it would take Brian Lumley himself to write it in script. As a story like Necroscope it would be possible to over-do the special effects....and under do them. A good script writer, which I believe Mr. Lumley has it in him, could do wonders with it!!!
Come to think of it, House of Doors would make a heck of a Sci Fi movie!!! Mr. Lumley is so talented with the written word that I'm afraid it would take an equally talented director, producer and crew to give it that ...gen-e see...what ever that word is!!!

Yeah....I think it would be cool to give it a try!!! I wonder how much we would have to beg, grovel and cry to get Mr. Lumley to write it in script and get it put into a movie commensurate to Mr. Lumley's talent!
I'm enthralled!!!! <Grin>

Yep! There are precious few directors that I would turn loose w/ something of this magnitude,a director....like Clive Barker who wrote Night Breed....would do most excellent. But, I honestly feel that Brian Lumley himself should direct it if he would. And however true that movies usually do not live up to print...I have to agree it would be a kick-butt flick!!!

I think I could play Harry... I have black hair and and Green eyes that turn to Brown. But I think they need someone with like a 5 o'clock shadow... and I don't have that... lol. <blink>I hope that they get someone good to play as Harry</blink>

I know all and see all...
So I know what you say about me and that is cool.

It might take a few more movies than there are books but i think they should stick to the book as a script, maybe a few alterations, but not many. Lumley himself would HAVE to script whatever changes there were. And the director would have to be someone who already read the series aand was as hooked on it as we all are! But Mr. Lumley would still have to have creative precedence over any director. If he didn't have basically full control it would never live up to all of our expectations!
