http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/eek.gif Oh dear... Not another puzzle!
Since this is a forum for talking about BL and his works, this will be my last Puzzle post. http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/frown.gif
But here is a simple enigma for you... and one with only ONE correct answer.
A boy cycles to school every day with his friends John, Jack and James.
On one Wednesday the boy is knocked over by a travelling salesman who was talkng on his mobile phone.
The Salesman stopped his Toyota Celica, hung-up his conversation and called for an ambulance.
The Ambulance arrived and the two ambulancemen strapped the boy to a geurney, put him on the ambulance and rushed him away to the hospital.
The Police, who arrived at the same time as the ambulance, arrested he salesman.
At the hospital, the boy was rushed into to emergency operating theatre.
The doctor came in to treat the boy, took one look at him and declared-
"I cannot operate on him, he is my child!"
The doctor is neither the boy's father or priest (vicar, Rabbi, etc.).
So how can the doctor's statement possibly be true? http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/wink.gif
Not a difficult one, I know, but it's a great one to spring onto others... http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/cool.gif
Oh, and this is meant to be fun... so have fun!
