Ok, thought I'd put up some things to make you go Hmmmmm.. :)
Mathematical:
On a man's tombstone, it is said that one sixth of his life was spent in childhood and one twelfth as a teenager. One seventh of his life passed between the time he became an adult and the time he married; five years later, his son was born. Alas, the son died four years before he did. He lived to be twice as old as his son did. How old did the man live to be?
Common Sense:
The human body holds nine quarts of blood. Suppose you were alone in the desert and accidently cut a major artery. If you bleed at one cup a minute, how long will it take you to bleed to death?
Realastic Lateral Thinking:
A woman has incontrovertible proof in court that her husband was murdered by her sister. The judge declares, "This is the strangest case I've ever seen. Though it's a cut-and-dried case, this woman cannot be punished."
Just your Ordinary Riddle:
The man who invented it doesn't want it. The man who bought it doesn't need it. The man who needs it doesn't know it. What is it?
Have fun! :)

LOL! What kind of a smiley is that? heh heh
Okies, well, the first is a mathematical one, but the second one.. use common sense... what would 'You' do? :)
The third one, well.. makes you wrack your brain a bit and the last one.. a little hint... think of Blood-Suckers! :-D

*whaps* :-Þ You're not stupid! :) Listen, if it wasn't for knowing the answers (umm..meaning where I got these.. they say the answers too! lol), I would have severe Brain Freezage as well!
ok.. lets go this route on the the common sense one... You are chopping onions (or whatever lol) and you cut your finger.. what do you usually do? And no.. not yelling out something like BOLLOX! Heh ehh You get a bandage yes? Sooooooo....
And what do Vamps (Not our Revered Wamphyri though) sleep in? :)
And the third one..hmm... just think.. 2!

Okay, I'll have a go...sorta :D
1> I'm with Creech on this one, my head hurts too :confused:
2> You wouldn't let yourself bleed to death??
3> The sisters are joined together siamese twin stylee, so the judge can't punish one without the other.
4> A coffin
:confused:
Try this one
I am the king of shovels
I have a double
I am as thin as a knife
I have a wife
What am I?

Ok then..
Numero Uno...
Let x be the age of the man at the time of his death. His age consists of the number of years he spent as a child plus the number of years he spent as a teenager plus the number of years between his coming of age and his marriage plus five plus his son's age (half his own) plus four. In mathematical terms, this is:
x = x/6 + x/12 + x/7 + 5 + x/2 + 4
x = 14x/84 + 7x/84 + 12x/84 + 42x/84 + 9
x = 75x/84 + 9
84x/84 - 75x/84 = 9
9x/84 = 9
x/84 = 1
x = 84
So the man lived to be 84 years old.
Owies..lol, gave me a brain freeze just copying that one...
Numero Dos: Yep, you would get a tourniquet I would hope..lol
Numero Tres: Got it Storm.. Siamese Twins
And the finale.. Numero Quatro: Coffin is correct!

How about the King of Spades playing card?
A spade is a shovel, so the King of Spades fits there. He has a double because there are 2 Kings on the card (top and bottom). He's a card (but let's not get personal) so he's thin as a knife. He has a wife that I suppose is the Queen of Spades.

Exactly right Amigo ;)
Okay:
A cowboy rides into town on Wednesday. He chills out for a while, has a few slammers, talks to a few ladies, gets a room and then he leaves, three days later on Wednesday.
How?

Sure is Lady :D
Here's some others
1) In our calender some months have 30 days and some have 31 day. How many months have 28 days?
2)The day before yesterday Harry was 9 years old. Next year he will be 12. How is this possible?
3)How many cubic metres of dirt in a hole 6 metres long, 2 metres wide and 1 metre deep?
4)Before Mount Everest was discovered, what was the highest mountain on earth?
Have fun
Nathan

1. All of them.
2. I wanna see if someone else can get this one. :D
3. There is no dirt in a hole! Silly boy... :D
4. Uhh..it was probably still the highest. And how does one go about "discovering" a mountain? Especially one that big! :D Your band of buddies sees it from miles away and start arguing, "I discovered it!" No! I did!" "No! me!" :D

LOL, good one Nathan!
Hmm.. #2 is probably poking me in the eye.. but I'm going off the deep end of the pool and saying: He's using the Mobius Continuum! lol
Was going for something like his BD being 12am on Jan 1st... but that only works I think if Storm had put 11 for the next year. I don't know... not enough coffee...
EDIT: Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Just re-read it... never mind on my ramblings of Jan 1st.. Day 'before' yesterday... Brain Freeze on that one...

Set up: Assume today is Jan. 1, 2001 and Harry's birthday is on December 31.
Day before yesterday (Dec. 30, 2000), Harry was 9. Yesterday (Dec. 31, 2000), Harry turned 10. Now, it's Jan. 1, 2001. On December 31, 2001 (still this year), Harry will turn 11. On December 31, 2002 (next year), Harry will turn 12.
