The family of vampires over the last 11 necroscope books, with all the blood sons and egg sons that have appeared, has become very large indeed. Wouldn`t it be a great idea if somebody was to create a kind of family tree that clearly shows the relation of one vampire to the next? It would probably mean rereading all 11 books, but it would be worth it- wouldn`t it?

I beleive Mike C was contemplating doing a family tree. Obviously, it can't be done overnight so I think we will have to wait. I know if anyone does pull it off, it will be something which deserves a lot of thanks.I for one would not be able to do it.

How are you getting along with it, Mike C?

Patrick-Progress is slow... I am reading The Last Aerie now and it seems like ages since I added to my diagram, but when I do add there seems to be a lot all at once and it fills in some of the gaps.

I sent an email to Brian asking him this same question. I told him that he had a great impact in my writing and that a companion book to the series would be a great idea. I have already started doing this on my own. Kinda like a who's who of the Necroscope and Vampire World Trilogy. The response I received from Brian said that there was already a possibility that a companion book was in the works and that professional writers were looking into it. I hope that is true and can not wait for that book to come out. Althuogh I know it probably won't be for awhile.....

If anyone desides to constructs a Wamphryi family tree or knows of someone who has one already done, please share it with the rest of us. I plan on finishing the whole series before I go back and start my own Wamphryi family tree research. Currently, I am a third of the way through Book 9 "The Lost Years" Volume 1.

Hey Mike C I have decided to take up the task as well and wondered if you would like to compare notes before submitting it here. I am on Deadspawn and understand your meaning but going through all these names and linking things up can be troubleing. Afraid I'll miss Something. After I have finished reading the entire series. Your 2 books ahead unless you went through the lost years first then your 4 ahead.

Well, I think I will also help out. I have read everyone of the necroscope series each..and several times each. I know most spots in the books by heart, and could get a rough draft in a week i think. We could compare notes before posting..maybe make it in html form..easy to modify. The others who are interested, you can email me at faethor@necron-net.com

I was thinking I might scan what I have written by hand and send an image by e-mail to anyone who is interested. I've been busy lately but first chance I get I'll see what I can do. I'd like to get a few opinions and verifications before I submit something Shadoe might post.

Dragutin well this is my second time through the series and I've also read both lost years. I should be able to finish The Last Aerie this week.

Faethor I know a little HTML but I don't know enough code to do a tree... I agree HTML would be easier to modify.

Mike C, I would love to have a copy of your family tree! Just send it to my e-mail. Might be something I could try to figure out, has a brother majored in Graphic Arts, and a few other people who I could cajole into working on this :)

Anyone interested I was able to download a free family tree organizer form zdnet that I am using I will post later tonight the actual name but I am using it. A little achaic but it does the job. I'm on my fifth read and just started jotting down. I am doing it as I enjoy the books not just roubleshooting so I won't be ready in a week maybe another month or two at most. When I get to a point in the book where it goes through the lineage and input then.

If I'm to far behind go on without me.

I think I got a complete tree of Harry's family up to Shaitan's spawn, and from Nonari the Gross, but I need to convert it into some sort of digital form to E-mail it anywhere, so I need to speak to my computer orientated friends for a hand. I will get back to you when I make some progress, but by then, you will have probably all finished!

I know Harry didn't spawn Harry Jr as a vampire but since harry did end up being one I put Harry Jr. under him any ideas or suggestions

OK people I need someone diligent enough to let me know something. I have the Ferenczy Family tree about done.
I need to know who Ion Ferenc's father was. He fathered Fess Ferenc. Was it Lagula Ferenczy or Rahki Ferenczy? I seemed to have set him aside here and don't have the time to research which book he would be in. I know it is one of the VW's. If I have to I will but it will take longer.

Thanks all

Am I being too litteral or naive here but would the best place for this not be the Master himself or his good lady. Brian must have made notes on all his vampire's lineage.

The question is could he, would he give them into the public domain. I don't know the copyright policies or personal feelings here. Would ShadoeWolfe not be able to help?

Or did I miss the point and this is something people want to work on and figure out themselves?

Wow, Katie could be right there. Maybe BL should have some say about this Family Tree.
