Hi
First of all, sorry for posting this question here. It’s a little off topic, but I couldn’t find anywhere else to post it (I'm new smile.gif ).
My question to you is actually a copyright question, that I’m hoping someone here can help me with. I’m a bit of an artist and I’m currently planning making a sculpture of one of Brian Lumley’s creations (a Chthonian to be precise), but the I started thinking, can I actually do that with out getting into trouble? I should probably say that I also what to sell casts of the sculpture when I’m finished.
So do you know if I’m breaking any laws by doing this? Or is things like protected by some kind of artistic freedom stuff? In a way I’m stealing/borrowing/using Brian Lumley’s ideas without asking (even though I’m mostly doing I as a homage to Lumley), but on the other hand a lot of mythos writers have “stolen”/borrowed from other writers.
Hope you can help and that I can go on with my little art project. smile.gif
Jack
P.s. Thanks for a great site smile.gif
