Fine thanks. There're others here who read WOT, it's the kind of topic that would be appropriate to post in the Retreat. As well as mine you could get other people's opinions too. If you're not an elite member I recommend it, it's only £10 a year-for a whole year that's really cheap, all the money goes to running the site.

My very brief opinion, I don't think it'll be a complete failure. Gathering Storm was actually good & ended well. There are differences from the way RJ wrote but they're not big & you get used to it. There's a lot of describing I thought unnecssary, ie going back to what had already happened previously or in previous books. You have to do that sometimes but I didn't think he had to quite as much.

You can't really compare it to Tolkein Jr, the massive difference is that he was the son of a writer who thought he could write. This guy Brandon Sanderson(?) is actually a writer who was asked to complete the story, not a relation at all!
