What is the English name for VAVARA.
Vegas in the snow.....never would have believed it

This one is difficult...even looking through the books I couldn't find. My thoughts of Vavara are muddled. I remember she didn't like being called "Lady," but that doesn't help us at all. A hint maybe...please?

Even her nuns called her Vavara.... I don't get it. It means "Stranger" translated straight from Greek... but other than that I've got nothing.

It is a name. If you look through some of the other topics and study the board members names, you may get a clue.
Trying to do a direct translation will not work. A lot of Greek names will translate into summit strange but will have an English name associated itVegas in the snow.....never would have believed it

Um, I may be breaking a rule here, but I'm just gonna guess. Vivian?
I only guess because in my frustration I reread Defilers.... nothing. I can't believe I overlooked it. Then again, I was rushing.

As I don't have Defilers here in front of me, and no real idea, I'll take a guess from your original clue.
It isn't Silky is it?
It's a long shot I know.........but oh well.

Thankyou much. It was pretty close. I was just lucky enough to have all of the Necroscope books on my bookshelf, so I looked up the dedication part. But now...for my question...I hope it is good.
What is the name of Lady Karen's "underling" who asks to be the aerie's warlord and is later banished into the hell-lands?
