Looking forward to seeing that one, not as good as the Mummy's eh then? Or good as far as effects, but storyline is bad?

    Waiting for video as always.

    Thumbs up

Saw it this last Saturday. I have to say I was impressed. I was expecting it to be bad, but it was a good popcorn movie.

IMHO it was better than the Mummy Returns. It was a lot more realistic (I know - movies aren't supposed to be realistic) and the acting was - well - it was a popcorn movie. The Mummy Returns was just more of the same from the first movie and the Scorpion King in that one was pathetic. I have never seen worse CG in a blockbuster movie. A huge crab with the Rock's face on it? C'mon. But The Rock did a decent job in this one.. it just would have been better if he would have at least tried to have an accent.. but - what can ya do.

Can't bring myself to watch it, and I love dodgy action movies, but I saw the Mummy 1 and 2 which were OK, although I said they were good, and someone bought them for me as a gift

Seriously though, can he act, not that I've seen, I saw him growl once, and saw him cgi'd, which shows that the makers of Mummy 2 ran out of money towards the end, or the animaters simply got bored
