This hasn't been done in quite this way before, so I thought I would see how this pans out...

Curuently I've been watching:
Gangs of New York
The Mission
One Upon a Time in America
Insomnia

This thread may be a bad idea, but time will only tell!

Been watching the Superman movies with Chrisopher Reeve in cos I've got a little addicted to Smallville recently and they've started using the music from the films which got me a little geeked out and I just had to watch the films again.

was tempted to watch superman at the weekend (not that I have it) after seeing smallville - which is actually pretty good, and it might even go on my must watch list of weekly TV

Note, Goodfellas generally pops up on the TV about 1 a month

I too have been taking advantage of HMV's generosity to replace my video collection with DVDs (anyone want an assorted stack of PAL vids, mostly main-stream gothic/horror, give me a yell!)

So recently I've been watching:

Razor Blade Smile
Usual Suspects
Dark City
Men In Black
Natural Born Killers

Also started to collect Buffy DVD boxsets, much to the horror and disgust of my bank balance!

A great source of cheap DVDs (apart from HMV!) is play.com... got a Bill Bailey DVD for £8, rather than the £20 that HMV wanted for it.

Speaking of BIll Bailey, I saw him at the New Media Age Awards last week at the Grovnor Hotel in Park Lane... very boozy night...

I saw Usual Suspects a couple of weeks back, and I paid very litle for it, but I can't remember where I got it, but it was a place like play... at the time I picked up road to Perdition for a tenner, and that was about a week after the release - all I remember was they were having a massive sale.

I want to be watching LOTR The Two Towers, but I have to wait for that

If I'd known, I had a stack of videoes you could have had, but I gave them to charity... I am now one of the only people in the country who doesn't have a video recorder or player. It broke, and I didn't replace it as I had a DVD player at the time. I've been gradually getting my old favourites back, though christmas and birthday presents mainly

I've gone off topic, but I have the choice of:

Battle Royale, Jay and Silent bob Strike Back, Event Horizon, The Amnimatrix, Dare Devil, and another I can't mention!

Might watch one when I have some other things done this evening*

*'Sanguinator - you might be a very happy dude very soon!

Been going through my old video's lately as I am moving house soon and need to pack my stuff away. I ended up watching Hellraiser 4 instead.

Thanks for reminding me GG, must reclaim Razor Blade Smile, I lent it to a friend months ago!

Gangs of New York (still don't like Leo but there is something about him being sprayed with blood which is oddly attractive)
Shadow of the Vampire

watched DareDevil last night as I had the night off (GF was out), so no calls, no nothing...

The movie's not too bad, a little thin in places, but the worst thing about it was the guy they chose to play dareDevil (Mr Jenny from the Block), and the choice for Bullseye was a little odd to - farrell didn't cut it....

I'm no big Ben"wooden"Afleck fan but I thought he did pretty well in the role of DD, and as for Colin"Will shag anything"Farell I thought he was brilliant as Bullseye.
It's just my oppinion mind but I thought it was a pretty top film.

opinion's great well OK, Farell was better than Affleck. Not hard though. I didn't expect Buyllseye to be quite that mad before he had his hands shot

Due to Katherine Hepburn passing away earlier this week, watched for the umpteenth time "Bringing Up Baby" and "The Philadelphia Story" co-starring the always excellent Cary Grant. Judy Judy Judy!

Been watching faaaaaaaar too many Dr Who vids as Jon Pertwee has now replaced Paul Weller as my style-icon and I want to fill my wardrobe with velvet smoking jackets, frilly shirts and silk-lined capes.

A mate has lent me a couple of great 60s Hammer films, Christopher Lee in The Devil Rides Out and Messrs Lee and Cushing in She.

Back in the 70s when I was a nipper I used to sneak down stairs and watch Hammer and Amicus
double bills.

Mr Black, you do realise that we now want to see you wearing velvet smoking jacket, frilly shirt and silk-lined cape at KC3?

Just ordered the next Buffy series on DVD... kinda glad there aren't many more to go... I'd be in serious financial trouble if they'd made many more series!

Got several films on VHS that I'm never gonna be able to replace on DVD, much to my annoyance (Killer Tongue and Hardware to name but two)... might have to figure out how to connect my video to my iMac and burn em to DVD... won't be great quality, but at least I'll have a digital copy.
