    Greetings

    I am a brand new member, but no stranger to the site, definitely no stranger to Mr. Lumley's work. I realized about a week ago that I never registered and decided I should.

    In checking out past postings, it seems to be full of the cheeriest bunch of ghouls on the net. I look forward to bumping around with you all some time.

I am also a previous lurker and decided to join. if you can get to my profile, i even have picture of the tattoo I got of the first necroscope book(US version) on my arm, not done yet...gonna have shading around it. I have read the 1st 3 necroscope books in the 90's and then now re-reading them all and on Blood Brothers. I also have the Psychomek series, but not read yet....

    Welcome Stacey

    Wow! That's some tattoo. I have to admit, it was that skull that initially drew me in to Necroscope. Back in '86, as a 16 year old kid, there wasn't much I was interested in reading, but when I saw that skull...

    And when I cracked the cover and saw what Dragosani was up to, it was all over. Someone had to stop him! I was in.

    Anyway, nice to meet you.

    hi Stacey.

    i own every single,
    and have read, every single Brian Lumley book available in America.

    bought the expensive, but worth it, necroscope limited edition hardcover, with signature:

    and also a couple of other 'rare' ones.

    i highly suggest using Amazon.com or any of silky's suggestions:
    you can buy good quality used paperbacks on amazon for dirt cheap;

    but only do so if you cannot afford to buy an nice new one:
    or own all of them, and want back-ups, (like me)

    im a braggart i guess;

    just a big supporter of artists/writers/musicians i love really...
    and damn proud of it!

    Smile hey again

    thanks for the replies and response to the tattoo. I was in a bookstore in around 1992, buying a Stephen King book when I was just browsing other books when I spotted Necroscope and what came to be my favorite skull pic of all time. I was always into horror and metal music, but never thought of a tattoo till a year ago and it took me this long. i knew that skull would then be my first tattoo and there was nothing else that would compete for it....i love skulls, actually a wierd fascination in them, and therefore this was the perfect tattoo....as for the book, after I bought it,,,,,I read it as i love to read,,,and have been a fan since. I own all the necroscope series in just paperback bought from used book stores and am expanding my Brian Lumley collection out of the necroscope series too,,,and am thinking of the skull on the cover of The Avengers, or the one on The Brian Lumley Companion for tat number two.....I appreciate any imput...i love the most wickedest stuff..and i can't put these books down.

    Hi Stacey. Nice to meet you, and love the ink!

    I always thought that the cover of "Defilers" would make a pretty good tat, or perhaps the skull on the TOR books release of "Beneath The Moors"... if you can handle the fungus, that is!

    Are you thinking of getting it done on your other shoulder?

    Wink

    I like beneath the moors, but I like something a little more wicked(what can i say, but I do like mushrooms...), Defilers is really nice, it reminds me of the lady skull for the band Samhain, but I do like the cover on Deadspeak(american Tors version), where the skull would be coming out of me electrically.....something about that is making me like it alot......yes, it would be on the other shoulder, then maybe get more on the legs....i don't care too much for down the arm or back(plus I am an accountant,,,gotta be able to be prof. looking at work). who knows,,,i just may be covered in his work someday.
