  • Unfortunately all the memberships have sold out. And there are no walk in day memberships available either. This is really going to be a good con. Almost 600 people are coming from all over. We have received notification from The Horror Writer’s Association that Brian has won their Lifetime Achievement Award and it will be presented to him at the World Horror Convention, in Brighton, in March of this year. Memberships are running out. You will have to pay an addition amount for the banquet but will be well worth it to see Brian get his award … and he will also be presenting the Grand Master Award to whoever wins it.





  • The Mammoth Book of the Best of Best New Horror, edited by Stephen Jones, US tradepaper edition, Robinson, Running Press, 2010. Contains: No Sharks in the Med. Available Now.



WHAT’S IN THE WORKS: (Please keep in mind that items are always subject to change.) Once I have an actual publication date an item will move up to the Publications section.

  • Brian is not writing at the moment … he’s taking a break after just recently finishing a work called The Fly-By-Nights … which by the way is a vampire story but not a Necroscope.


  • Apparently the reissue of the first four Necroscopes in the new jackets have done very well. Three of the books in the special editions have sold out. TOR will be reprinting more but they will be at the regular price. They are also talking about reissuing Deadspawn and The Vampire World Trilogy in rejacketed editions as well. It looks like TOR have decided to do away with the Eggleton jackets and keep the new ones.


  • Necroscope the movie. http://www.evolvingpicturesentertainment.com/ Anything substantial happens … you’ll find it here. Things are moving along on this … we’ll have to see how it goes. It has now been optioned for its fifth year.

Allen and Chris Koszowski we know will be there. Possible Dave and Amber McDougle and whoever else can join us there. Looks like being a great weekend. I’m going to schedule two readings for Brian and it’s possible he’ll do a question and answer session as well. This is just in preliminary stages at the moment so we don’t know the timings for it yet. Hey, Palace Station Hotel even has a shuttle that takes you down to the strip every night. We’ll make sure we don’t miss out on that.
