I'm new to the forum. I read the original necroscope books years ago. I also read a book called House of Doors and its sequal Maze of Worlds. Has anybody else read these? And has anyone seen the movies Epoch, and Epoch Evolution?

Firstly, welcome rmcfarlen good to hear from a fellow Lumlian fan. You say you read Necroscope years ago, well well aren't you missing out. I read House of Doors for the first time only a few weeks ago(2nd visit a long time ago) and wished i had done it sooner, great books but much prefered Dreamlands, Primal Lands, etc.
Never heard of these films, are they any good?Enter of your own free will

The reason I asked is because about the movies is because those two movies have a very close plot with the House of Doors books, down to the main character having a ability to quickly understand new technology. But there is no credit given to Brian Lumely. Since the books came out several years before the movies I was wondering if anybody new anything about it.

Welcome to the board, rmcfarlen.
I'm sure I've watched these movies, but I don't remember making any connection to the books. I'll have to check them out again.John

Well it has been a while since I read the books, but if I remember right does The main character in a book have an ability to figure out machines and is he also dying of some disease. I will have to rewatch the movies and find another copy of the books. LOL.
If I remember castle in the book, and the Monolith in the movie was both sent to judge mankind.

POTENTIAL SPOILER FOR UNDER THE DOME BY STEPHEN KING FOLLOWING THIS:
I have just completed the book Under The Dome by Stephen King. Am I the only one who, while enjoying the King book, found a suspicious amount of duplicate story to the House of Doors/Maze of Doors stories?
Supposedly this is a book that King was thinking about in '70-something and didn't re-start until '07, but still, this is a seriously similar premise to the Doors books.
I don't know if anyone will notice this soon, but I am truely curious about this 'phenominon'.
And slightly drunk.
But I cannot force the circumstances of my finishing the King book by my sober-ness.
Brandy and 1800 Tequilia are fun.
