OK, if you could pick a different "world" to live in, what would it be?
Ex., the Necroscope world would be a good one, with vampires running amok and people with special mental powers.
But I would rather live in a "Highlander" world- it would be awesome to be immortal, to be able to live through all the great historic periods and be a part of them, to watch civilization advance.
What "world" would you want to live in?

<font color=440066>Simple... it'd have to be the Dreamlands...
I'd train up a couple of Gaunts and go aquesting with Hero & Eldin.
I'd seek out an audience with Henry's father, rest in the cool shade of a Great Tree, climb the Aran mountain...
I'd maybe spend some time in the great library, seek the favours of Gods and Maidens...
Basically I'd live the Life of Riley...

<font color="770000">It would have to be the era I posted in the other post, but...in Starside? Ye Gods...what a bloody time that would be! But I think mixed with 16th Century Scotland would make the Szgany (I know I have to have spelled it wrong :-|) some people to be feared by the Wamphyri, what the Scots could teach them about fighting...oohhhh</font color>

I hate to be one to just go along with the crowd, but it sounds pretty tempting to be in the Dreamlands.
perky, the "Highlander" world doesn't sound too bad either, I suppose, unless it really is a "Highlander" world. I would not want everyone to be an immortal . . . I couldn't enjoy myself if I were constantly afraid everyone was trying to lop off my head. I would prefer just me and a few friends being immortal . . .
And Emaleth, you spelled Szgany correctly, I believe. You have to be one of the more conscientious spellers on this board!

I reckon my favourite world would have to be my own....
But if you mean Bri style, then it would have to be The earth of Titus Crowe as it would include the dreamland, and I could also get to Borea.... and if I am really lucky I could get to the world beyond the gate

Starside/Sunside for me.
These Hell Lands are not for me. The sun comes back to often and doesn't stay away long enough. The people are more combative to us all and there are far to many weapons for them to use on the whole Wamphryi line.
I long to see my Starside stars shining down on my Aerie....My moon mistress beckoning to me to play my music to her.... Oh how I miss raiding on the succulent Sunsiders...and the way I ravaged the Traveller women....
To the memories!!!!!!!!!!

I fear I'm going to have to forsake Brian Lumley on this one account, and go with the Imajica post-Reconciliation. To travel from Clerkenwell's Gamut street (after visiting the famous houise of the Reconciler, Gentle, of course) on to Patashoqua in the 4th Dominion to see the sights, and then drift on through the Dominions to Yzodderrex to meet Judith, and her growing, special child, Huzzah. And from then on into the now lustrous first where The Unbeheld, Hapexamendios himself met his death by his own folly. Ahhh yes, the Dominions are the world for me ~smiles~
For those of you clueless as to that which I refer, read <u>Imajica[/i] by Clive Barker.

<font color=440066>It took me about three attampts to read Imajica, and I haven't even looked at the sequel yet! But I know where you're coming from - the worlds are pretty fantastical, but I still maintain that the Dreamlands are the place for me... Especially after what I did in Serania last night!
