I haven't really seen much discussion about this, so I thought I would ask. Who is going to the WFC in October? Anybody taking this chance to see Brian, Silky, and ShadoeWolfe?

I just found out that I may be taking a class for work in Dallas on the 23rd - 25th. If so, I will be in prime position (well, much more prime than I am now) to be in Corpus Christi the next day. Since this would be way too much of a coincidence to actually happen, I'm sure I won't get to take the class. But I'm holding out hope!

    Scarlet,

I have already checked there (and just checked again) and I don't see anything related specifically to the WFC. All the discussion is centered around the Las Vegas signing and not the WFC in Corpus Christi.

However, if you want me to move my question there, I will be glad to do so!

Someone post the exact dates and locations and I'll see what I can do... I have a huge show going on in Vegas the week before Mr Lumley is going to be there and it was all planed before I knew about BL being there So I'm SOL on that one but I might be able to swing the WFC if I get more Info...

This is where Wolfe steps in and helps me out here and tells me where on BL.com I can find the Info

    Talking

Well - what can I say? The entire trip was great.

The WFC was a little bit odd...since there was NOTHING to do outside of the hotel. If you didn't go tp the panels and readings, you were in the bar. So you all know where our crew was most of the time since Brian only had one reading.

I got to finally meet DaveStrorm, Peter, Veriatus once again, and some other fans at the autograph session. Everyone was well received and it was a blast to put faces with names finally. If only the States weren't so darned big, we could all hook up more on a regular basis like our UK partners in crime. Oh well, I guess we have to take what we get.

Brian's reading was video taped and will hopefully be on the site in the next month or so, depending on how my schedule goes. I have some more pictures from the con that I will try to get up in the next couple days so you can see what all went on. As Veriatus said, the autograph session was interesting.

Well, that about covers me for the Con - great meeting everyone and hopefully more of you can make it next time!

Well, I'd have to mostly concur with Shadoe about the Con. Since I got there on Wednesday, I got to do a little bit of "sightseeing." Nothing really to see there except the beach . . . which of course was good!

I got to meet Shadoe and Heather, Keith and Jane, and Peter, all for the first time. I got to see Veriatus, Brian and Silky for the 2nd time. I got to hang out with all of them for an evening. Uh, that was pretty good. And the conversations were absolutely cracking me up! Everybody (well, especially Keith and Brian) had crazy stories that were unbelievable - yet they were so nutso they couldn't possibly have been made up. The only bad thing was I had a vertigo attack (I thought I was over them!) and was horribly sick the last day and a half.

What else? Let's see . . . I watched and listened as Brian did his reading (which was great!). I went to a panel discussion on the evolution of the vampire in fiction. I bought several great books.

Overall, I had a great time even though I got sick! I do wish we all could get together more often somehow.

All the people were great and they made me feel like part of the "group." I guess there's more I could say, but I'd just like to say "Thanks!" to Brian and Silky and everyone else who was there for making it such an enjoyable time.

Speaking of getting sick, everybody ask Shadoe and Pete how their first night of the Con left them feeling come sunrise. I guarantee you'll either get an interesting response or a downright lie! Dave Strom the Storm King, it was great to see you again.
Mucho dineiro was spent by all, but I actually managed to go home with 20 bucks in my pocket. Big Deal for me.

Veriatus I'm not sure I know what your talking about....lol!!!! I seem to remember something about Metexa and many many bottles of red wine!!!!

And yes mucho amounts of money was spent. It was really an awesome time and thank you to all that were there to make it such a fun time.

To the ones that were not there, you would have had fun!
