I've been looking all over for some of the comics based on the Necroscope series, and I am having a great deal of difficulty locating them. Has anyone here seen or owned any of the comics? If you have, how are they, and were did you see them?
Any assistance would be great.

I dont know much about comics, but I have got a grahpic novel (looks like its a compilation of issues), of the whole first book of Necroscope.
Published by BOXTREE in 1994
ISBN 0 7522 0962 0
cost me £7.99 when I bought it, but I've seen copies in our local 'cheap book chainstore' a few times for something like 99p.
Hope this was of help

I own a couple of the "comics/graphic novels", from the first two Necroscope books. I bought them here in Glasgow from Forbidden Planet, or rather a comic shop at the back of Forbidden Planet. Sorry I know thats not much help.
I only have a few as they are mighty hard to get a hold of, but I do believe they may be available through the store on this site.
Keep trying though, I got mine through pure chance.

Check out eBay right now. Search for Lumley in titles and descriptions and you will turn up almost all of the comics right now. At least last night when I looked there were most of them there....

I presently own all the comics that have come out with necroscope in them. Starting with Malibu comics who put the first book into 5 issues of books. With the second issue coming with a self sticking tattoo of the first book's cover!(speaking of which i actually have tattooed on my left leg for real) Those 5 issues were put into graphic novel form. Vamphryi was put into only 3 comics till malibu went out of business. I have the first issue of Vamphryi, that was recalled cause it was mistakengly sent out in magazine form size. And now Calibur comics hold rights to necroscope comics who only came out with 3 issues them selves before going under. So i dont know if this is any help, hopefully it will give you a start to look for. CYA!

Apparently the last Necroscope comics that have been printed are from the comic book company Caliber. They printed the first two books that start after Novel 3 (The Source). After these 2 books they decided to discontinue the publishing of the comic I guess. I've inquired more than once to Caliber about getting the next issues but they have said that they have them done to about issue 6 but that there is not enough financial gain to go ahead and print them. They have suggested that they might release the whole thing in a graphic novel form but nothing so far. If you like you can check out their website at www.calibercomics.com and leave a message on their message board or forum and check back for answers.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I'm new here but I have inquired to Mr. Lumley about the comics.
I know Malibu did some and I even have some of them. I didn't like them too much. They really took away from the books and the painted art wasn't as good as it should have been.
Is there a concensus as to who everyone might like to see draw this stuff?
Who would be good to script it? Besides, Mr. Lumley himself, I mean.
Good luck finding the comics though.....

I have the 2 issues that Caliber released last year and they are right on target I believe to Novel 3 The Source so ya they are worth the read. I just wish Caliber would release the rest
