Long time reader, new to the board

Hello all. I've been a long time Necroscope fan (over 10 yrs now), but was never the computer friendly type, lol, so just found the site. I have all the collection upto and including Avengers, and plan to pick up the rest when I have the cash to spair. The main reason I'm getting on these boards is because I have yet to meet another Lumley fan, and this is something I have a hard time with! Necroscope is my favorite series of books and Lumley my favorite author. When I meet other horror fans I just cant seem to convince anyone to give them a read.... and having noone to discuss these works of art with is a bit unsettling to me! Untill I found this site the other day I was feeling like the only fan...and I consider myself a diehard fan. So it is nice to finaly now I'm not alone. I'm not online as much as I'd like but I hope to become friends and a part of this community! Thanks all who read!

Welcome to the board, Jwayna.

Seems you may be a bit behind with your reading. Have you read any of the newer Necroscope books?

What other Lumley masterpieces have you read?

Lol, you are correct. I am way behind on my reading. I'm only a few books behind on Necroscope, and have been meaning to get into Titus Crow. I'm not sure when or if I'll get around to the other stories, but I have read Fruiting bodies and other fungi about 10 years ago. I must admit that I probably have to many hobbies for my income level, lol. But there are some questions I have that could help decide what priority Lumley's other works are on my to do list....I'm just not sure this thead is the appropriate thread for plot based questions? Would it be necessary to go start a new thread or can I ask here? Oh and thank you greatly for the warm welcome! Honestly I was expecting/hoping for, "Tear down the mountains!" lol

Feel free to start a new thread. We like to see you start the threads in the appropriate places. Necroscope questions in Necroscope Saga. Non Necroscope in Other Novel / Short Stories.

Also maybe you like to give Necro knowledge and Lumlian Knowledge a try. We're looking for a couple answers.

If you wouldn't ask such difficult questions then we wouldn't be having this conversation, lol.

Ok, Necro knowledge I have to give a shot! But sadly...my Lumley knowledge is very lacking. If it's not on the faq s here then I am probably unaware, do to the fact that I m newly online with no other fans to converse with on this subject. sorry, but since i do want to be counted as a fan proper... i will attempt to brush up on more then just the books!
