Gutted to have to do this, but times are hard and credit card bills are high! I'm offering for sale my Vasagi the Suck sculpture made by Paul Brown. Images can be seen here: http://www.brianlumley.com/media/artists/paulb/paulb.html It's taken pride of place in my living room since I bought it several years ago, but to be blunt, I need the cash and I'm running out of other things to sell! As far as I know they're as rare as hens' teeth, and I haven't seen any others up for sale on eBay at all. Probably no-one else is stupid enough to get rid of theirs! It's in immaculate condition. I also have a full (I think!) set of Paul Stanczykowski prints which are also un…

I watched the IMSA race at Sebring Saturday. Couldn't believe the crazy turn of luck both the Porsche factory team cars (#911 and #912) had in the last half hour of the race. They dominated the whole race and then, BAM! Combined with the snafu in Daytona, I bet those guys are still cussing two days later! Don't get me wrong, I'm a Corvette Fan all the way.(The Pratt-Miller C7Rs, those DP cars aren't really Corvettes in my book) I was happy to see at least the #3 Corvette on the podium, but I'd rather not have it happen as the result of those kinds of late-hour mechanical bugs. Maybe it's OK, though. Corvette Racing #4 did go out after a brake pedal return spring failure …

I figure we here all gotta be avid readers, right? I got away from reading for several years due to a hectic life, but the last year or so I've been able to ease my way back into the hobby that defined much of my young life. With the aid of the E-reader and Audiobook, I'm to the point now that I'm ripping through books! I prefer the printed word, but having the audio allows me to "read" while working out or driving. As a result, I'm able to spend a couple hours every day digesting books. It's nice. I bounce back and forth between the same title on both Audible and Reader. Takes some time to find my place after a switch, but it's worth it to me. My mom was looking …

A disturbed genius has joined the Great Majority. The greatest (IMO) surrealist of all time died today from injuries sustained from a fall. He was 74. One of my bucket list items was to one day travel to his museum in Switzerland and see his work in person. Continue on, Mr. Giger. Dream, design, and paint the most grandiose surreal works that one could never begin to accomplish in life...and pimp slap the pompous Salvador Dali when you get a chance.

Heard about this on the radio this morning. Couldn't avoid drawing the mental parallel to the Necroscope Universe. Norway. Narrow valley between steep mountains. 6 months without sun. Tracking mirrors installed on a peak to reflect sunlight into the town square. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/nov/06/rjukan-sun-norway-town-mirrors

Seems to me I now post once a year. It's interesting to read where things were last year. I like this. Anyway, everyone I used to post with on here is now on face book... but for an update, once again things have changed... I'm a dad since last year, christmas was awesome, and life is good. Hope everyone else is doing well and speak soon, Tom

Hi All, New year, new post. I hope it's a happy one for you all. I remember when I joined 13 years ago (I know - how long)... and the forum was vibrant with people chatting. I don't know where you've all gone (some of you I do), but it's a shame that there's been no posts about christmas, new year, or what people are watching, listening to or reading. I hope I'll hear from some of you - I know some of you I will hear from, as I have you as great friends in the real world... but others I know I'll never hear from again... they are lost in the time that's gone by and the Keogh Cons that have been and gone. What a ride folks - one really never to be repea…

Need inspiration guys, at 18 I started to read books and quickly gathered as many as I could and was reading 20 or so a year but now 15yrs on im struggling, the love of books has dried up, or so it feels! I need some recomendations, but good ones people, Feist is boring me although I'll prob still get the new one and I'll obviously be getting Brians newy, but I have no idea where else I need to take my wandering mind! I'll start us off and recommend 2, The first being the Steig Larsson's millennium trilogy which really lives up to the hype, and 2 an oldie in Ameriacan Gods, which is possibly one of the most amazing books I've ever read, can't wax lyrical enough a…

I thought it was time to re-do this one, it's been ages since anyone posted what they were reading, if they liked it or not etc... So, I'm re-reading Robert Jordans The Wheel Of Time. I'm on book 6, Lord of Chaos and loving it. It's been ages since I read this series last and even though it doesn't have an ending which is very frustrating I still love it. So what about the rest of you, what are you reading?
