Now don't get me wrong it's really not about the presents, I had a great Christmas really enjoying the company of my family and friends and grinning with total smugness when a couple of present that I had given were quite obviously very well received. That's what it's all about for me, being thankful for what you have, meaning great friends and family - not the presents, good food on the table and a warm and cozy place to be. At least for a day or five. I have finally finished the first draft of my book and needed a break before the rewrite. So, before I retreat back into The Black, I thought I'd pop into The Place of Original Inspiration and see what I could see. How are things in the Lumlian World?

I recently watched Alien vs Predator 2, it was a mistake as the film was rubish as I expected it would be, but I do still like the concept. It made me wonder who would win in a fight between a Lord/Lady and a Predator, or an Alien? Is there anything out there in the world of film/book that could kick the ass or a Lord or Lady? (Except for a Necroscope of course!) I think the Alien may have a good chance, they are very intelligent and have a high survival instinct, would be a lot harder to bite into than a human and have the major advantage of acid for blood - are they even edible to the Wamphyri? What about the face-huggers, can they even implant a vampire? …
