I do hope that further books will be written about the exploits of the E Branch. I loved the last lot of stories and am very interested in the talents those people grew. I very much think though that the ending of the Avengers has drawn a line under them.

Hey all, I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, but aren't there too many Brian Lumley ideas in Star Gate to just be coincedental. Look at Khai of Khem and the Necroscope series. Alien Pharaoh? Check! Pyramid spaceships? Check! Evil Parasites changing people? Check! Star Gate/Door to another Universe? Check! Sounds like a law suit to me. Have you all looked into this?

Was very glad when Harry Keogh popped up again in the Avengers book. I was devastated when he and Karen died. It's not the same without them.

Hey everyone, My name is Dean Morin and I'm a sculptor (at least I used to be). I once sculpted a lady karen statue for a company called classic plastics back in the 90's. they put out a shaithis statue back then.the karen statue was a companion piece to go along with a statue of that big fat wamphyri.can't remember his name. anyhoo, right after I did the sculpt the company went belly up. I never got the sculpture back. I got a call a couple of years later from some guy that knew the ex-owner of classic plastics and wanted my permission to produce it. I said sure and then after a while I kind of forgot about it. Just wondering if anyone has seen it out there at …

hey guys, gawd its been ages since i've posted on here. just a heads up on some books over on Amazon that appear a bit iffy. in the description it says they are in german so i wouldnt be surprised if they are just german translations of books already released, but it wouldnt be good for people to instinctivly buy them now would it? so simply a nod that these are either 1) potential fakes 2) more likely, german translations. the book names and numbers also got me a bit ??? questioning, but anyone can write a title for a page listing nowadays on amazon, so its more likely that the numbers are wrong. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Necroscope-16-Vampirwelt-Bria…

Started reading the touch again, I am about have way through now and must admit that I did not like it the first time I read it mostly though it was because the blurb on the back was misleading claiming that St. John was a part of E branch and that it was a start of a new series but forgot to mention the other main characters that were involved. Felt a little annoyed at the time however since re reading it have enjoyed it more this time around (probably because I know now not to trust the solaris synopsis) but I blame that on Solaris not Mr Lumley. However I still think that St. John was a whiney little be itch not nearly as engaging as Harry nor Nathan or Jak…

I'm just making sure I haven't missed anything and hopefully there's a new Necro-novel in the works.. Have read: (Apologies if I get these in the wrong order) Necroscope, Wamphyri The Source Dead Speak Dead Spawn Blood Brothers The Last Aerie Blood War The Lost Years (Volumes 1 + 2) E-Branch series (Invaders, Defilers, Avengers) The Touch Harry + The Pirates I loved them all and often pick up one of the above and open it to a random page and read when I need to kill some time. So... have I missed any? I need some more Harry Keogh (or which form the Necroscope takes) books and I hope the brilliant Mr. Lumley has 1 or 2 more in the works. Thanks…

Playing around with Google today and I came across a link to Facebook. OK it's not actually Thibor Ferenczy... it's Thyborg Faerenccy, which is more than a little close, don't you think? Could it be that "the Thing in the Ground" has survived? Necropaedia

Ok the premise of this intersting Harry Keogh being a necroscope...In the first book, spoke to an author and then wrote and actually published books to make a some what of a decent living before being recruited into E branch... If you where the necroscope ...Who would you have spoken to? Me...I would have spoken to 3 ppl ( well other then the obvious ppl he spoke with to gain access to the mobius continuum... I would have spoken to Jimi Hendrix, Stevie ray Vaughn and later Dimebag Darrell... You know exactly what I would be doing with that knowledge too 3 of our times most gifted guitarists...I know Dime was ultimatly not finished..well neither was Jim…

Although I'm about 23 years too late with this question, I'll ask anyway: How does one pronounce "Wamphyri?" I ask this because I know how I want to say it, but I must have a mental block about it and I keep reading and mentally pronouncing it as Wahm-feer-ee. I want to read and think it as Vahm-fi-ree, but I can't get it to stick in my mind. Is there a universally accepted pronunciation? Ken

as stated, i just finished it. but it seemed a little , i dunno , anti-climactic? obviously righting Sunside/Starsides axis was an incredible feat even for Nathan. but whats more, now he can use the Mobius to jump to earth when he feels like it and.........thats it? we just assume he lives out his days in peace and quiet after taking his e-branch friends home? part of what i really loved about these books has not just been the super climactic endings, but also the descriptions of the aftermath. lol even just a chapter or two describing what Lardis and the rest of the Szgany decided to do after all was said and done. granted i havent started Invaders yet so…

I had the disturbing idea to develop a soundtrack of sorts to listen to while reading the first Necroscope novel. In fact, I presented my friend Travis a copy of this cd, and gave him a pdf of the currently out-of-print graphic novel to pique his interest. A few days later, he asked if he could borrow the book. I gave him my copy and purchased a new one later. Now he plans to read the rest of them and enjoys the soundtrack as well. I need ideas for the second volume of the soundtrack, but there are only certain styles of music I will allow to even come NEAR my speakers. The following should give you a clue on my preferences. This the unofficial soundtrack for book 1…

wasnt sure where to post this thread...so i just started a new one The E-branch saga...I loved the ending our world turned into a vampire world..But I know Lumley can do more... How long will it take for vampires not under Ebranch begin to act out...in what ways ( what if E-Branch no matter how prepared to battle there own insatiable appetite) cant.. My thinking is no human is perfect ...we know this...Lumleys Vampires love WAR... So what if a war breaks out between ebranch members (Dissention in the ranks) i know they say we wont and even Harry fought it to the end ( he wasnt full fledged vampire for that long..he hadnt lived centuries) I do hope Mr Lum…

You may need to bare with me here, this is a bit stream of consciousy... So I was in Waterstones the other day and I saw this new wall devoted to paranormal romance and it got me thinking... when I used to browse bookshops this area of fiction was housed in horror (e.g your Laurell K Hammilton schtuff). Then I thought, hey, isn't this all new vampire fiction not aimed at myself, but women (the covers give it away ) and emos... so I start to think vampire fiction is having a massive comeback in the UK. My next thought is - what the f*ck are the bookshops and publishers doing not pushing Mr Lumley and his Necroscope saga? I looked at the horror section and saw t…
