Hi, all people. I know this forum is quite dead, but just wanted to say hi to all and thanks to Mr. Lumley. I love his book since I was a kid. And it's probably like thirty years or so. Take care, all.

I didn't start to read books until the last few years. I had a poor upbringing and never got the chance. Later on and life I joined the military and worked in the national cemetery. I developed major depression and in a way I feel alot like Harry Keogh spending most of my time sitting in the cemetery. I got out and worked at a prison for awhile. I eventually lost that job and my life went down hill. I traveled the United States like a lost soul and even went to jail on purpose. As crazy as it sounds it's true. This is just a short summary but I say that to say this, Brian Lumley's books have gave such a joy to my life. I turn 28 this year and I wish I would have heard abo…

Greetings, guys. Well, I MUST be an idiot. I can't remember how, but somehow or other I found myself reading Stoker's famous original back in the early 70s - just started at secondary school. It was a public school, complete with boarding houses and all the other associated crap that went with it (my old man's idea. Not mine!) A kid there was into writing his own sci-fi horror stories.....at the tender age of just 11. Had notepads, jotters and excercise books brim-full of the most weird and wonderful scribblings imaginable. I read a few - crazy stuff, really - and during my teens began diving into Tolkien, Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast, Alan Garner's …

I sold a very unique book about 15 years ago. It was an oversized, hardback, yellow, smooth covered book. It had no dust jacket. House of Cthulhu and Other Tales of the Primal Land. I have regretted it since that day. Very beautifully illustrated. I do not believe it ever had a dust jacket, so it is not the one I commonly see, and have bought, that is available on sites. I have contacted everyone I could to try to track it down, including Silky and Jim Pitts. I was sold thru ebay and they have no records of sales after so many years. If anyone has any knowledge of where I might find this book it would be very, very much appreciated.

All I'm waiting for is the movie, but it's been quiet since the initial announcement. Imo a necroscope series or movie would be the best thing since...well the books!

Is there any plan to have Avengers and The Touch on audiobook? I'm burning through the collection of Necroscope books on Amazon audiobooks (just finished Bloodwars, about to start Invaders), and am alarmed to see they don't have Avengers or The Touch. Anyone know where those can be found?

This is going in the right direction. It is fine to be a part of the fantastic FB page but a good well presented dotcom site is also a must. Now let me get these t-shirts ordered asap.Is XXXL an option? Asking for a friend.

I have read the entire Necroscope series in paperback and, I have collected all of them available for kindle. Are there others like me hoping the ENTIRE Necroscope Series be placed on Kindle? Is there any chance the Author will put the entire series in the e-book format?

I used to post on these boards around 1999/2000 but haven't been on in years. I recently moved to the US and while scanning all of the documents that I wanted to keep I found a picture of Brian, Silky and a few of us fans from the boards at a book signing. I just thought I would post it here in case either of the former members come back to look around. Pictured are Brian and Silky (Obviously), then far left is Lethal menace, me (quail) and far right is Goth girl.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Brian-Lumley-Original-letter-1983-signed-Dave-Carson-letterhead-Cthulhu-horror-/150793767853?pt=AU_PaperPostcards&hash=item231c024bad Hi all Back in the 1980s I did a bibliography on BL, now woefully out of date of course. I am still interested in BL but am thinking of selling some of my correspondence with him from the period 1984-1992. Above is a link to one such item I am offering on eBay. It pains me to let these letters go, but I have reached an age where I must start to part with some of my precious collectibles. Great to be here at the official site! Hello! Yes, it IS quiet in here. Most of the posts I've been looking at today are at least 4 years old. I take it the movie has been scrubbed? James MacAvoy needs to play Harry. Also, why are all of Mr. Lumley's audiobooks in the iTunes store in German? I don't shpreckenzie that sutff. I miss the Necroscope. Sure I can go back and read any of the mountain of books I own and have already read, some of them multiple times. (What the...I have 3 copies of The Source?) But...I don't know. I feel different somehow. I kinda liked walking around with a head full of Starside/Sunside stuff, going around making Szgany vows, and doodling my interpretations of various W…
