I'm still reading the book the Historian, and believe it or not I'm beginning to feel sorry for Dracs. If he was Vlad how did he become vampiric? How did the sucking of blood come into it?

Has anyone seen any of the old vampire figurines produced years ago. I saw a picture of Staithis. Fantastic features and I for one wouldn't want to meet him down a dark alley. Are they ever sold on eBay?

I am reading a great book at the moment. It by Elizabeth Kostova and is called The Historian. Not yet finished it but I am glued

Hey folks, i'm starting a project for my other main hobby that i'll explain breifly. i'm a member over at joecustoms.com , and we basicly customize gi joes. i was hopeing someone could link me to an art page. is there one? offical or fan art will do nicely. the project... is that i'm about to start work on 19 figures and 1 playset, all necroscope related. so any and all refrence art will help....please. if anyone wants the full list just ask...but be patient cause this could take a year or 2 to complete. i will however post w.i.p. pics as i go if someone could tell me which form to post those in? thanks

Hello all. I've been a long time Necroscope fan (over 10 yrs now), but was never the computer friendly type, lol, so just found the site. I have all the collection upto and including Avengers, and plan to pick up the rest when I have the cash to spair. The main reason I'm getting on these boards is because I have yet to meet another Lumley fan, and this is something I have a hard time with! it says the four great vampires came through the gate in 371 ad....karl had been destroyed in 1258....he was 1600 yrs old...how long were these four vampires lords of starside for? i know it was 170 yrs from the time radu's sister died to when lagula died....if that was the case....that means that should be BC instead of AD correct... I've been reading Mr. Lumley's fine work for many years, with great pleasure. Imagine my mortification when I discovered I had mad free with one of his characters in some of my recent work at 'Fantastic Horror'('Journey to Irem') I didn't get paid for it, if that means anything. Now my use of Queen Nitocris was brief, peripheral and not central to the story-no, my big swipe was Quachil Uttaeus, but that's a Clark Ashton Smith thing, and as far as I know, nobody has defended CAS' copyright for years(pity, that). I stumbled onto this site an hour or two ago while looking for some Primal Lands information. Now am looking forward to getting the Compleat Crow and those Primal Lands collections, but I may have to wait until my wife gives me my allowance. I didn't even know those books existed. I've liked the Necroscope saga for as long as I can remember; especially starting around The Source when Harry was really coming into his own and before his descent into darkness. That being said I've really enjoyed the whole Crow/Dreamlands world ever since I got the . It is simply engrossing and massive. Update- Just got all 3 volumes of the Primal Lands for 12 bucks. Sweet.

Hi Everyone. I came to this site looking for a time line of all of the events in the entire Necroscope series. Does anyone know if one exists? Where to get it? It would be a great aid to keeping things chronologically in perspective. I made something like one for myself when I was reading Ann Rice's Witching Hour series (three books). Actually it was more of a family tree of the Mayfair Witches, but it include dates over a 400 year period, so it was very helpful historically. I'm in the middle of The Lost Years (Volume One), reading them in order.

Hello all! I am glad to have found this site so i can get back into the world of Necroscope. About ten years ago or so a friend let me have a paperback of Necroscope and i was hooked. I could not put it down and read it cover to cover in one sitting. Necroscope was the first and only book that i has ever captured me like that. I then read all the books up to the second Lost Years book. I then went through a rough patch in my life and lost contact with reading. The only books i still have are Blood Bothers and The Last Aerie in hard back. I hope i can get back into the loop with my reading. OK this is the 3rd time i have tried to post this ( didnt know any maintenance was going on last nite ( so what i had hoped was a glich due to having to reset my psswd ( my message didnt post) Im going to try to keep this short( but fact is it isnt very short at all)...
