After what can only be described as "far too long" myself and redwillow felt a need to pop in and see what was up with our favourite Lumley people and what things we found, weddings, children, tours, driving (!). Congrats on all and sorry it took us so long to pop by. Thinking of you all, and coveting new books. Hoc and Red.

Just thought I would say hellllooooooo. Signed on a while ago and have been lurking; a lurker at the threshold if you will. Been a Lumley fan for quite a while now, since 95 and since then have read quite a lot of his books, from crow to hero/edlin, khai, mr Trace, tara, pshycomech trilogy but not so fond of short stories they are like diets just enough for a taste but still leave you hungry. Anyhoo I digress hello.

This all new to me. Just wanted to say "Hi" from Arkansas, USA and let you know these are the best vampire books ever. I'm now rebuilding my library of Brian Lumley's Necroscope series for the third time. I have donated two sets to two different libraries so far. This is also my third rereading of the books. That's it for now.

Hi everyone I've been a Necroscope fan since 1991 (my god, that's 18 years!) since a friend lent me the first four books to take on holiday to Spain. Needless to say I read all four within the fortnight... and Stephen King's "Nightmare and Dreamscapes" which I bought on a day trip to Gib. Some of you might know my website which has been running since 2002. Previously called "Necroscopy" (which Brian pointed out is the autopsy of animals) it's now called "Necropaedia" and has moved from AOL Hometown to Lycos Tripod. I've recently revamped it and added more content. Here's the URI for anyone who might want to check it out: http://members.lycos.co.uk/jordandesign/…

Hi everyone! I am really happy to have stumbled across this site and forum. I have been a follower of the Necroscope series for many years now and love all the books. Particularly love the Vampire Worlds - love the Lady Wratha! Have only just found the latest book - The Touch and will read it after I finish re-reading the entire series. Any news of another book? I would love to hear other fans of Brian Lumley - I also love the Titus Crow series and House of Doors but my favourites are definitely the Necroscope series. Also keen to find out whether the series will finally make it's way onto the big screen or even on TV. Lady Amber

Hello fellow Necroscope and Brian Lumley fans around the globe. I've been an avid Necroscope fan since 86 when i first laid my hands and eyes upon my first copy of the necroscope book. I re-read many of the 13 books i now currently have in my collection, 5 of which are in first print hardbacks, and (sigh) unfortunately the rest in paperback. I also have read the pschomech (not sure of the spelling there) trilogy as well as house of doors and demogorgon. I can certainly say i'm a big fan of lumleys work, though after touring the site before joining, not as much a fan as many of you here. Sorry, some of you are seriously hardcore fans which is perfectly acceptable but i adm…

Hi there, I first discovered Brian Lumley's works a little while back when reading stories from the Cthulhu Mythos, and, enjoying his style, deceided to buy a copy of Necroscope. Well I'm so glad I did! I read it within three days, brilliant book! The second in the series is on its way to me in the post and I'm going to invest in the Titus Crow Novels also. I believe I've got a lot of enjoyable reading to come! The most amazing thing is how I didn't discover his work sooner - I mean, he is originally from the same north-east former mining colliery that I live - Horden (or Harden if you like!) and obviously I found Necroscope all the more enjoyable considering that…

Hey all! I just wanted to say hello to everyone here. I've been reading Mr. Lumley's books and stories since I bought "Dwellers Beneath" when it first came out ( The old DAW books edition) and had read a few "Primal Lands" stories back in the old"Fantastic Stories" magazine. I was in Jr.High and High School back then. That should give you an idea of how old I am. I'm from Ohio, but got stuck in Germany when I got out of the Army many years ago. I'm an electronics technician for a German Co. and I'm on the board of advisors for the local observatory here in Nuremburg. What I allways like most about Mr. Lumley's stories is that they are so entertaining. Never pr…

Hi everyone!! I finally joined the site!! I first read Necroscope when I was a Sophomore in High School (circa 1991) and have been a huge Lumley fan ever since. He's my all-time favorite author. I don't know about other places, but here in the U.S. his books can be difficult to find and most people I tell about him have never heard of him ... although I just got one of my co-workers hooked!! heehee I wouldn't say I'm a "collector" as most of my books are paperback ... BUT I do have something I think is kind-of rare, but I'm not sure ... I've got the Malibu Necroscope comics (1-5) released in 1992-1993 (http://www.brianlumley.com/books/necroscope/comic.html). …

I'm a new member but read all the Necroscope books (except for both Lost Years) a few years ago and have developed quite the wamphyri obsession! I've just finished reading the entire collection for the second time, this time including Lost Years and The Touch. The entire set was pretty hard to obtain - they just aren't in print here in Australia!! But getting the books was easy compared to sourcing all the comics which took me a few months and a lot of time searching obscure comic book sites. I had the best luck on ebay and Amazon. Anyway, I thought I'd ask a Necroknowledge question: What is the name of Daham Drakesh's bloodson?

Gday to all. I read the Necroscope series a long time ago and have decided to re-read them;), though I don't still have any of them:mad:. After searching online I find that there are 2 versions, U.K. and U.S. The series I originally read were the U.K. as the cover art is totally unforgettable! My question is: are the contents of the books identical? 2nd question if I may: where might I find a complete set of the U.K. version at a reasonable price? (Apologies in advance if this is in another thread)

Via my bookseller I found out Brian was doing a small book signing in London. It must have been around 1991 or thereabouts. Along with Brian at the signing session was another favourite author of mine F. Paul Wilson. I lived at the time in St. Annes in Lancashire and my mode of transport was train. I had two very large rucksacks filled to the brim with 1st editions, proofs, magazines, and short stories. I was going to have a field day having the two sign them all. The book signing was at a pub and was due to start at 7.30pm. I duly arrived at 6.30pm and waited and had a drink while I waited. At 8.30pm I decided with heavy heart and slightly blurred vision to call it a n…
