Hello Everyone, I've just finished read my first Necroscope novel (The Lost Years V.1!).... FANTASTIC... how did I miss them before!!! I've picked up Necroscope books a few times in Waterstones but, I have to say, was put off by the cover image and description. It wasn't until I was chatting with a work colleague about my favorite book of all time 'I Am Legend' by Richard Matheson that he recommended the Necroscope novels to me. Once I started reading I just couldn’t put the book down and finished reading it on Christmas day (It must have been the best Xmas ever!), I have just ordered the first five Necroscope novels from Amazon.co.uk and am waiting impatiently. W…

I've been a big Brian Lumley fan ever since the first Necroscope novel was recommended to me back in the early 90s. I also used to visit this site long ago when it was first getting started (before there were message boards). Let's see, I've got everything he's published and have worn through no fewer then three paperback copies of The Necroscope. I came here today because I went to the bookstore last night for some new reading material. I'm having surgery on Thursday and wanted something new to read while I'm off work next week recovering. I was pretty suprised that Mr Lumley had a recent novel out (The Touch) so I picked it up in hardcover. I'll probably star…

Hey everyone! My name is Kelly, and I first got interested in Mr. Lumley's works about two years ago. I currently have most of the Necroscope series, and also have House of Doors and it's sequel. I think Mr. Lumley is brilliant in the way he tells a story. I was enthralled from cover to cover in each book I have read. Any suggestions on other works by him that I can start to collect? I started reading his Necroscope series for two reasons: 1. I have an odd obsession with Vampire novels, movies, etc. I'll read or see anything that involves them. 2. I love supernatural novels. Anything involving psychic energy, ghosts, werewolves, or anything that qu…

Hi everyone. I must say, having been a Necroscope fan for 14 years, Im made for only discovering this forum now. Its amazing. I feel like Im with friends who share a common thread (a crimson life thread perhaps?) of interest and Im delighted to have become part of it. Anyway, I'll not keep you long. My question is simple. I have read all 13 Necroscopes and have just bought Harry Keogh: Necroscope and Other Weird Heroes. I also got Necroscope: The Touch, which Im saving for after HKN&OWH. With respect to the Titus Crow and Hero and Elden segments of the book, do I need to have read the previous novels featuring these respective characters in order to know what…

Hi Guys New to the board, but been a Lumley fan for sometime. First read Necroscope way back in 1988. Read all the rest. I try to read all the series every two or three years or so, but it's been a while now, maybe five since I last read the set. My interest was aroused again when I saw The Touch on Amazon. Something for the wife to get me.

Hello Lumley Fans First, allow me to express just how honored and excited I am to be a member of this fine community. It is a rare opportunity--at least, in my experience--to casually encounter another Lumley Fan let alone any significant number of us. It is my hope that my membership here amongst you fans will generate meaningful bonds, forged through a mutual affection for the Keoghverse, and even more meaningful discussions. I believe it proper to provide some information about myself; after all, how else would I generate the bonds spoken of above? My name is Ivan. I'm a United States (but, occassionally, the Mobius Continuum) resident and I suffer from a…

Greetings! My name is Jason. I live in the US. I've been visiting this borad off and on for some time now. I bought my first Lumley book years ago when I was in grade school at a used bookstore. It was the first Necroscope novel. I tried reading it, but it was way over my head. I'm in my late twenties now. Last summerI finished House of Doors and Maze of worlds. Then I moved onto Necroscope. Oh how I loved that book! I'm not easily moved by scary things. But when I imagined how Faethors voice sounded to young Boris Dragosani in the cruciform hills for the first time, the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. I quickly moved through the first five novels, loving…

I know there is a World of the Necroscope boardgame. Does anyone know of where you can buy it from? Also heard mention that there are figurines from the necroscope. If they exist, I sure would like to see them but don't know who sells those either. Love to see the characters from the books brought to life!

Is there a group called something like "E-Branch recruit" ? Those Wamphiri are pretty nasty fellows, not like Anne Rice's pansy, whoofder, moody, goth type image. I wouldn't want to be Wamphiri 'cos E-branch will catch up with you and roast both you and your leech!!!! Nice to be here anyway (as an undercover E-Branch operative)

It’s damn hard trying to phrase an introduction and say hello to everyone with a Great Old One like Lumley sharking about--frigging hel--no pressure, eh? Let’s see, what to say without sounding like a complete boob/stalker-fanatic? I’ve been the unofficial president of The Brian Lumley IS TEH GAWD fan club, also sole member and treasurer (there are many perks) for about *scratches head* we’ll call it 18 years. The last five of which have been spent rudely in condemnation for the lack of new installments. Mr. Lumley, I’m sorry but I had to fill the void left by your serial fiction and seek my fix elsewhere, so now I’m spending more monies supporting Repairman Jac…
