Hello Everyone, I've just finished read my first Necroscope novel (The Lost Years V.1!).... FANTASTIC... how did I miss them before!!! I've picked up Necroscope books a few times in Waterstones but, I have to say, was put off by the cover image and description. It wasn't until I was chatting with a work colleague about my favorite book of all time 'I Am Legend' by Richard Matheson that he recommended the Necroscope novels to me. Once I started reading I just couldn’t put the book down and finished reading it on Christmas day (It must have been the best Xmas ever!), I have just ordered the first five Necroscope novels from Amazon.co.uk and am waiting impatiently. long time reader first time posting. i don't know if anyone here ever plays massively multiplayer games, but i think necroscope would be an great setting for a game! they are my favourite horror novels, right up there with king and lovecraft. all the best,mr. lumley.

I've been a big Brian Lumley fan ever since the first Necroscope novel was recommended to me back in the early 90s. I also used to visit this site long ago when it was first getting started (before there were message boards). Let's see, I've got everything he's published and have worn through no fewer then three paperback copies of The Necroscope. I came here today because I went to the bookstore last night for some new reading material. I'm having surgery on Thursday and wanted something new to read while I'm off work next week recovering. Hey everyone! My name is Kelly, and I first got interested in Mr. Lumley's works about two years ago. I currently have most of the Necroscope series, and also have House of Doors and it's sequel. I think Mr. Lumley is brilliant in the way he tells a story. I was enthralled from cover to cover in each book I have read. Any suggestions on other works by him that I can start to collect? I try to read all the series every two or three years or so, but it's been a while now, maybe five since I last read the set. My interest was aroused again when I saw The Touch on Amazon. I know there is a World of the Necroscope boardgame. Does anyone know of where you can buy it from? Also heard mention that there are figurines from the necroscope.
