    Gone But Certainly Not Forgotten
International Best Selling Author Brian Lumley sadly passed away at his home this January. He was the winner of many prestigious awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Horror Writer’s Association in 2010. Famous for his groundbreaking Necroscope® series, he went on to become one of the top writers in the Horror field. Although Brian had crossed genres between Horror, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy, Brian had many other series under his belt such as: The Primal Lands, Hero of Dreams, Psychomech, Titus Crow, etc. And of course, all the Mythos stories with his own twist.
After a 22-year stint as a Royal Military Policeman, he had a long and prosperous lifetime of doing what he loved to do, bringing continued enjoyment to all his readers and listeners. Brian has written approximately 60 books along with many, many short stories, and novellas.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann (Silky) Lumley, his daughter Julie and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He may be gone but his legacy will live on in the hearts of us all. Especially me.

So cool to see the site becoming active again
I was never a majorly active participant back in the day but I did lurk around. Somehow I was lucky enough to be a childhood friend of the Necroscope Fans FB group creator and when our friendly neighborhood webmaster Mr Shadoewolfe shared the fact that it existed things kind of took off!
Now I'm amazed at the connections we have built as a result of that, so THANKYOU!
I've shared the news of the site update to the online communities I can find, so hopefully I can do my part to return the favour of rattling a few old bones, so to speak!

Unfortunately, I don't have access to Silky's old yahoo site. What I can do is transfer all that info to it's own page on .com and that's a good idea. Silky updating .net on her own saved both of us a lot of time over the years where she would compile everything and send it to me and then I would put it up. Her having the ability to put it up herself was great. Now that that has ended, it's back to the old ways...

ShadoeWolfe got a reaction from NecroMech in New site design live
Just a note to let everyone know the new site design is now live for the main page and the FAQ page. In my opinion those are the two most important pages on the site so I wanted to make sure those were ready first. I will be updating the rest of the site as time allows and hopefully I will be able to incorporate the site design into the forum as well so the entire thing will be seamless. Bear with me as my free time to code isn’t what it used to be. Hope you all enjoy!!

I will admit life really got in the way of my web design over the last few years. That and the astronomical jump in people accessing the web strictly on mobile devices- well this reboot has been a long time coming. I kinda miss the ‘simple’ days of the web when you could put an animated gif on a page and it was cool as hell lol

Yes I will do my best to add good content and point folks to the forum. Not everyone has FB etc. (I do some fan art btw and used to web design mostly in Flash Perl in the old days so if you need any support with the design and dev of merchandise pages etc) .... I am mad for Brian Lumley's work.

Just letting everyone know we are running the latest version of IPB and everything should be running smoothly. Let me know if you have any issues and I will try and get them resolved ASAP. Also going to be working on the theme as some things have changed with the code and it needs updated to run properly, so we will be running with the default color scheme for now.
