Been quite busy with my Manager position (oie heh ehh had to do my first (W)itch Mode the other day!) and also been happily running amok on the EU Laurelin server of LotRO.. gah, need more hours in the day thats for sure! Tom, I read the book The Spartan by Valerio Massimo Manfredi (based on Leonidas and the 300 warriors (plus 6500 some odd allies but they held for the end) for the fight against the Persians), although I don't think the movie itself is based on that particular book, I hope it's close to being as good. Anyhoo, if you ever get a chance, read that book and his Alexander series as well. Myself I am also looking forward to seeing 300.

Well, seems I had to upgrade to Firefox in order to do my online taxes. I still have my Mozilla installed, until I get everything sorted for Firefox. Only thing I don't like about the new one, not that it's a big problem since it does pop-up informing me of cookies, is that I can't hit tool/cookie manager to block all cookies from a site easily. So will see how it goes :-)

Ohh I finished Conclave of Shadows not too long ago and am into the 2nd book of the Empire series atm (didn't have books 1 & 3 yet). I'll probably wait until the 3rd comes out of the Dark War as I won't be able to wait for the 3rd after reading the first 2 heh heh. I still need to get hmm I forget which ones.. Jimmy the Hand I know for one and one or two stand-alone books, did I get the Krondor ones too? *looks* Ohh yes I did, treated meself to both Krondor and Conclave series. I think Krondor is pre-Riftwar as Jimmy is a young man then and Conclave I believe is hmmm 20+? years after the Serpent Wars. Empire is during Riftwar and before Serpentwars...lol One day will read them all again in order. I have the rest of the series I believe now except for the last, Dark Wars. Oh also got Shards of a Broken Crown too as for some reason I kept overlooking that one as one I had... but didn't. I would have loved to have been a part of their Friday Nighters group.. playing these stories pen & paper wise.

I am back using Mozilla 1.7.13 as Firefox was just a bit strange and wasn't what I was used to, I don't think they do plain old Mozilla anymore now.. just the Firefox/Thunderbird Suites. Good to find out that the newest version is still a bit buggy before I tried it again. Heh heh, I've got this theory that if programs work.. then don't upgrade! I do the same with Windows, when it stops working (or has 5 million crashes) I'll upgrade. Win 2000 Pro still works well for me and I just went to that a year or so ago from Win98!
