Vasagi sculpture
Gutted to have to do this, but times are hard and credit card bills are high! I'm offering for sale my Vasagi the Suck sculpture made by Paul Brown. Images can be seen here: http://www.brianlumley.com/media/artists/paulb/paulb.html It's taken pride of place in my living room since I bought it several years ago, but to be blunt, I need the cash and I'm running out of other things to sell! As far as I know they're as rare as hens' teeth, and I haven't seen any others up for sale on eBay at all. Probably no-one else is stupid enough to get rid of theirs! It's in immaculate condition. I also have a full (I think!) set of Paul Stanczykowski prints which are also unavailable (apart from as individual prints), which deserve better than sitting in my cupboard. These can be viewed here: http://www.brianlumley.com/media/artists/paul/paul.html If anyone is interested in buying either/both of these, rather than cluttering up this forum, please email me privately: psychokatuk@gmail.com If there are no takers they'll probably end up on eBay, but I'd rather they went to a true fan like one of you 'orrible lot! Debs xx

Lovecraftian live cabaret!
Don't know if anyone is interested, but this caught my eye: http://www.selfmadehero.com/news/2011/02/news-flash-2011-belongs-to-cthulu/ An evening of Lovecraft-based entertainment, with readings, comedy and film viewings in London on April 15. Not sure yet if I'll be able to go, as it's a busy weekend for me (birthday and my first festival headline show), but if anyone else fancies it, I'm sure I could be forced along!

Seriously??
Agreed. Necroscope has been under option for so long... it missed the boat for the last wave of vampire interest (Underworld) and now that vampires are popular again, however wussy they may be(!), this really needs a big push, with an awesome screenplay. BTW, I'm not having a go at anyone involved here... but there's a gem waiting to be polished here, Holloywood needs to wise up and realise that there's a whole load of vampire fans who don't want all the sparkly emo-crap excuses for vampirism that is around at the moment!

The Walking Dead
Is anyone else enjoying this TV series as much as I am (which is lots!)? Awesome zombie action and a truly gripping storyline... looking forward to episode 4 tonight! It's being shown on FX in the UK, home of other top shows such as Dexter and True Blood ) On a side note: does anyone else wish Brian had done a series of zombie novels (I am slightly zombie obsessed atm!)

Happy Birthday Goth Girl!
Thanks guys (for the Facebook messages too!), had a great day with lots of yummy food, drink and buying a dress a size smaller than usual, which is always good! xx

New Design showing up...
Looks a bit too squished into the centre on my browser (Mac OS 10.5.8, using both Firefox and Safari)... makes everything deeper which makes my scrolling finger tired! Do you want a screen shot?

Congratulations to Silver
I'd just like to send my best wishes to our very own Silver and her very very soon to be husband, Lee, on their wedding day. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there, due to a combination of lack of money and a slightly lame husband (his leg, not him in general!), but we shall raise a glass or two to you both tonight, and wish you an eternity of happiness together xxx

Favourite Halloween/Horror movie?
Seeing as I watch horror films pretty much the year round (hey, every day is Hallowe'en for the freaks!), my traditional Hallowe'en film is Nightmare Before Christmas. And singing along to all the songs, which is a great way of keeping the neighbourhood brats away from the door! And on the subject of the Saw films... keep 'em coming or kill 'em dead (pun intended!)?? I thought Saw V was OK, but I don't really see it as a Saw film without Jigsaw. I love the first 4 films, but I'm in no rush to see VI!

DVD sections in stores...
It's in Stratford... if I can walk to it, it's local! OK, I guess technically I could walk to the Oxford Street one, but not in 20 minutes!

DVD sections in stores...
I'm lucky in that my local HMV has a great horror and world cinema (which is 90% horror!) section. And loads of anime. Which I like too... in fact I know very few people in my social circle who don't like anime! Although I tend to flip through the titles to find films that interest me, then look them up online to see if I can get them cheaper.

True Blood
Dexter and his 'sister' hooked up in real life, and that hasn't shown any sign of going downhill yet, so hopefully Sookie and Bill won't ruin True Blood with domestic bickering! I enjoyed the season finale, bring on season 2! Also, for UK folks, True Blood is coming to Channel 4 this week, for those who don't have access to FX

True Blood
It started well, but haven't been so impressed with the last couple of episodes. I don't think they're particularly ghey, not more so than Buffy, but I just don't like some of the TV-invented plot lines. I know they're not going to stick exactly to the books, but the episode from a couple of weeks ago was entirely new, not a single plot line was from the books.
