Rare Lumley
I love Dave's work - somehow he makes horror and gore beautiful. The current price for those is very good at the moment - especially for them all! if you can afford it I suggest you go for it - I wish I could afford it! Though I do have those prints so for me it's not a total loss!

Necro Knowledge 2010
It has been a long time but I am inclined to guess at Harry's ma. I think I recall someone somewhere saying to Harry it was a little ditty they used to sing to him as a child - so she's got to be the most obvious choice!

Hello
I know, I remember the first read all those years ago I lost so much sleep because I just couldn't put it down! A friend of mine has recently finished his first read - he confessed to being late for work on a couple of occasions because he was still at home reading up to 5 minutes before he was due to start work!

Agreed, it is a lovely looking book

Hello
Actually I disagree a little, though it's certainly better if you start from the beginning withiout a doubt I know there are quite a few guys/girls in here who didn't do that and still loved the stories and that made them want to read the others. I would say that you can probably get away with reading Nec 2 and 3 before it becomes too involved and you really won't get it. If you have patience wait till you get Nec 1, if not I say get stuck in!

lady karen sculture
Skullberry it's a real shame that your sculpture never had the oportunity to be sold, I for one would have certainly bought it (cost permitting!) I'd also love to see any pictures you might be able to get for us of it. Is there any chance another company might be interested? From your description it looks amazing and I'm sure I need one of these!

I agree we do need to do something, and if you can put up with us in your home that sounds like an excellent idea!

Hello
I remember those days too, there was a time when I would spend ages trying to decide which book to buy as there were plenty on the shelves but I could only afford one at a time. I don't mean just Necroscope either, I remember trying to decide if I should get Khai of Ancient Khem, Demogorgon or the Next Titus crow (this is before the Mythos Omnibus came out and the books were separate). I believe I went for Khai as it had more pages - my logic was get the biggest, it'll last longer! Even then though he wasn't amazingly popular, I was still the only person I knew who was buying and reading these books or had ever even heard of Brian Lumley.

Hello
I would never want Brian to change his writing style and become watered down to suit the mainstream massses, but if he were more poplular you'd be much more likely to find his books on the shelves of Waterstones etc instead of having to search for books that are long out of print, making him more accessible to us.
