  1. Ok. It’s taken me a while to get my thoughts together. I apologise in advance if this comes out a bit disjointed. I first met Brian in 1978 at Chichester. He was one of the staff at the training centre an me, a new recruit. Even then he was well disciplined but approachable. We met again 2 years later when I was in the process of leaving the army. I worked for him in the admin team and he persuaded me to give it another try. Thankfully I did and spent another 10 years in service we met again in 1999 at KC1 abd the rest is history. Brian was always gracious and a fantastic orator. I watched over the next few years as he enthralled fans at the Cons and I cannot remember him ever as anything except friendly and grateful to his many fans. He was a great role model for any budding author and always willing to sign your book(s) and chat over a brandy (Metaxxa). I was lucky enough to have met up on holiday in Thassos and he made sure We really got a feel for the Island. I will always remember him coming out of the sea with an octopus stuck to his chest. You will be missed my friend and although we were saddened by your passing, we will always be grateful to have known you

For me it has to be Godzilla. Seen the trailer and looking forward to this a lot. Also I, Frankenstein, always loved films about the big guy
  4. Yay. Nice to be back.
  5. Actually starting to feel lonely in here.

I have one of these as Sarah bought it for my Birthday when it was first released. If you can afford this it is well worth the asking price. I'm off on holiday soon so no way will she let me buy this one as well. plus, having two would be greedy......

Got one of these. Its a great buy and has the added bonus of an original Allen K drawing inside the front cover. If you like it buy it otherwise someone else just might
  9. The German version is 20+ books.
  10. These are genuine books. The Necroscope series was translated into German and printed by "Uncle Fester" who actually attended one of the Keoghcons. If you are a collector of Brians books, they are a good addition.
  11. Happy Birthday Silky. Have a great day. Sarah & Keith
  12. Depends on how many stopovers, You can get Air France for £597 but 3 stopsor Continental via Huston only for £432. Not bad price on the later but you have to be quick and only one change as well
  13. This is what we found in the goodie bag we all received on arrival.
  14. Ok, we're back from Brighton and I can say, a good time was had by all. It was great to see old friends again and for those of you who could not attend, you were missed.
