While Id love to see a Necroscope movie series...Really, I dont think they could make it even half as good as any one of the novels UNLESS they left nothing out, which would mean that they would have to make three movies out of each book, which would take far too long to complete. What Id love to see would be a cinematic movie and then a TV series of the rest of the books up to the final third of Deadspawn, and then make a cinematic finale. Now THAT would make for an amazing journey through the world/s we all love. They could then do the same for the Vampire worlds trilogy and possibly even make a miniseries out of The Lost Years novels. They could also do the same for the E-Branch trilogy as well. For me this would be the ONLY possible way to do these amazing stories justice.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I intend to stick around for a long time. As far as other Brian Lumley books go, apart from the Necroscope series, Vampire Worlds, E-Branch and Lost Years 1 and 2, I only have A Coven of Vampires, which I love. A friend of mine had Psychomok and was going to lend it to me, but I dont like to read part of a series without starting from the begining. Unfortunately, Psychomech wasnt available in Australia for a while. Now that it is again, I havent really had the chance to go and get it and the other two books in the trilogy. Im sure I will get it, in time. Once again, thanks for the welcome Jarrod

Id have to figure out metaphysics and the secrets of the Mobius Strip. Then Id use the Mobius Continuum to traverse the Universe. Who knows, I may even bump into Mobius himself. Failing that, Id continue to create stories. Some fantasy, some reflection on my life, alternate realities of events which could have happened in my life, things like that. Id also chat with the great auuthors, Homer, Stoker, Shelley, Polidori, Lumley (if I outlived him), Stevenson etc. Id drop a line on the great film directors and get them to show me their 'new' films (Now In surround Deadspeak). People such as Chaplin, Murnau (the director of the GREATEST adaption of a vampire novel to date), Lang, Spielberg, Lucas etc. Id also talk to family members who had passed before me, the list there would be staggering. Id make a complete family tree which would date back thousands of years. Jarrod

SPOILER ALERT!!!! My favorite twists were: Finding out that the Dweller was Harry Jr; Harry Jr's full transformation into a wolf and coming to rescue his father; The conversation Harry has with 'God?' after his death and the shards of himself splintering; Finding out Harry had twin sons to Nana and all the possibilities this could bring for future novels. But my absolute favorite twist was Harry becoming Wamphyri, as someone else said, I only wish that Harry could have been allowed to become a full Wamphyri and have him turn really evil. Imagine the great saviour becomes the great evil!!! Then the Vampire World novels could have been about Nathan and Nestor's fight against their own father, the greatest Wamphyri of them all. Hi... Im new here, but have been a huge Necroscope fan since July 1988. I thought that, being new, and a fan of Necroscope series and sequel series, I would tell you guys how I became a fan... I was riding the train to town. I live in Newcastle, Australia, and the train trip isnt that long. When I reached Newcastle, I climbed off the train and sat for a few minutes on a platform bench. There, beside me was a black paper back book. I looked at the cover and read 'Brian Lumley Necroscope'. Having absolutely no idea whos book it was I asked the nearby people, none of them said they knew who owned it. So, I decided to take the book to the second hand book shop to see if I could get some cash for it. On the way there I opened the book and read the descriptions of what a Telescope, Microscope and a Necroscope was. This intrigued me, so I read on, and by the time I got home later that afternoon I was completely hooked. I had never read a full length novel before. Infact the only book close enough to be described as a novel was the Bible I was forced to read from begining to end by my Grandmother. Yet, by 10 am the following day I had completely finished the novel, and was hungry for more. I went into my local book shop, and they had no idea what I was talking about when I asked them about the follow up Necroscope novels. It then took me around a year to finally get my hands on the sequel, by which time I had read the original Necroscope 3 times. It took me 2 days to read Wamphyri. When I had finished I could not believe that the book was actually BETTER than the original. Throughout the 1990's I waited for each new novel with great expectation, and each novel never failed to shock me, horrify me, terrify me, and at numerous points move me to tears. While each book expands the Necroscope universe to fantastic new levels which Im never disapointed in, I have to say my favorite complete series is the first Necroscope set. My favorite hero is Harry, of course. My favorite Wamphyri is The Lady Karen. So, to who ever lost the first Necroscope book on Newcastle train station, Australia, in July 1988.... THANKS!!! Jarrod

Well...Ive been reading Necroscope novels since I was 16, so the year was 1988. Since then I hooked my various girlfriends (I think about 5 of them), 7 mates, 2 of my cousins and my aunty. My aunty actually told me, after finishing the first five Necroscope novels, that she loved me for turning her onto the world of the Necroscope, but also hated me for the many sleepless nights she had from not being unable to put the novels down and the various nightmares she has had. My current girlfriend (well, perhaps she should be called my partner because weve been together for 10 years and have a daughter together) became hooked after I constantly annoyed her to stop reading Virginia Andrews (not that theres anything wrong with her stories) and start Necroscope. She very quickly became a fan, and then we both hooked her mother, who has collected every Necroscope book she possible could. Jarrod

Hi...This is my first post here... Anyway..I cant wait for the new novel, and I also cant wait to get my hands on Harry Keogh and Other Weird Heros. As far as The Touch goes, to me, with aliens from an alternate dimension who can create their own worm holes into our world, it sounds very much like the TV show Sliders, especially in the last few seasons where the Kromags became the major 'bad guys.' Still, any slant that Mr. Lumley can put on it, including vampires, Necroscopes, walking dead, psychic abilities, perhaps psychic wars etc will completely blow any similarities to anything else out of the water.
