Jeez. I hope not. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing a sparkly Wamphyri who goes the whole 'diamond skin' route...and is promptly pegged out in the sunlight to let the diamond facets amplify the sunlight . But honestly, between "Underworld", "Vampire Diaries", "True Blood"....there won't be any room left for Necroscope unless someone signs up for a big-budget, multi-part movie/series soon. It's going to end up played out and cliched, and of no interest to any of the big studios.

http://io9.com/5702020/finally-the-x+files-is-getting-the-sexified-teen-dramatization-it-deserves Seriously, it seem like we all need to band up and blast the crud out of someone to get Necroscope pushed either as a series, or a movie trilogy, before everyone else jumps on the bandwagon and Hollywood looks at it like "Meh, another vampire/Underworld/X-files/Supernatural spin-off attempt *shrug*. Not interested."
  3. Considering that he *is* the Master, after all...Ladislau Girescu
  4. Yessir.
  5. How was Nathan's minder, the one 'sitting' under the tree, killed on Zakynthos??
  6. Because he'd suddenly had to use the restroom, later to discover that it was his talent keeping him from running into Seth Armstrong, Janos' thrall.
  7. If I recall correctly, someone at the end of "The Touch" says that Shania and Scott keep their memories so that one day, when an alien race does contact Earth, there can be someone there who remembers. In "Avengers" Goodly's precognitive journeys during his vampire sleep indicate that in the future, there will indeed be Necroscope(s) descended from Jake and Liz...so if/when that contact occurs, surely a very long deceased Scott or Shania would try to contact the Necroscope(s) of that time. I do know this much, though: There's *more* than enough potentially loose ends to make "The Touch" an integral part in any (crosses fingers, knocks on wood, prays to St. Jude) future Necroscope novels.
  8. Ya wouldn't really need a couple million to do a decent rendition, just a whole lot of time and patience: Here's a Star Wars fan-flick trailer "Dark Resurrection" that looks so bad-ass that I'd learn Italian just to watch it.
  9. So, just for the hell of it, I was re-reading "The Source"....and in the battle for the garden, both Harry and The Dweller let a couple of lieutenants charge them and follow them into the Continuum, then exited, leaving the lieutenants in the Continuum. As I recall, Harry said numerous times that if he let it, the Continuum would eventually eject him, like a mote in it's immaterial eye. So here, if Brian ever reads these things, is a nice starting point if he ever decides to start another trilogy with the Wamphyri, in future Earth time. Just let the Continuum dump the lieutenants (or their bodies) somewhere where spacetime is thin, such as an advanced planet where warfare or warp-drive usage has left spacetime thin from repeated abuse.
  10. Since the end of Avengers, I've always hoped, deep down in the bottom of my heart that somewhere in Brian's mind was the thought to resurrect Harry. For whatever reason, be it a warp in the Gate dropping one of the Wamphyri off on another, more advanced, planet (surely there aren't just two grey holes in all the multiverses!), or something equally sinister, I'd love to see a reason to bring Harry back with the full range of powers. Hell, even team him up with Nathan, since Nathan learned to travel between universes without the use of the Gates. Sure, Harry is scattered throughout all the universes, and throughout time, but if the Powers that Be can distribute him so, what's to stop them from bringing him back together?
  11. Awesome sculpture! Something you might do is read up "The Lost Years" to get more ideas for how a dog-Lord would look, maybe find some of the common points between them. Also, don't forget that Canker had red hair (from the fox in his lineage), so maybe have a bit of red put in with some grey. I think on this one, a very-fine 3-bristle brush might come in handy. I don't know exactly how i came across this one, but this just screams "Wamus", even down to the red eyes.
  12. Something that alot of people here tend to forget is that, for the most part, many of the characters are still relatively young in the first 2 books, then there's a huge 8 year gap between "Vamphyri!" and "The Source". Bill Nighy would make an excellent Goodly...for the E-branch trilogy. But not this early on. As for my contribution: Roger Fan for Chung http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0266656/ Also, as I mentioned in a previous thread, Jason Isaacs would be awesome as Shaithis.
  13. Yeah, I try to get people to read Necroscope (originally by loaning them out), but after the third time of replacing the series, they're just gonna have to find somewhere else to get the books.
  14. Thought you all might like these: Sucks though, that I won't have any money for another 2 weeks....try to leave me one, could ya?
  15. I'd like to see a prequel that goes WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back, and deals with Shaitan's downfall. Probably one of a very few books I'd actually pre-order. As far as the Dweller's past, the impression that I got out of The Source was that he wasn't very active, power-usage wise. Pretty much all he did with it was set up the Garden. Now, if he'd explored other universes.....
