  2. BIG SPOILER AHEAD!! Let's draw a picture.... Perchorsk gate <---> "Upper" StarSide Gate Urals Mtn gate <---> "Lower" StarSide Gate Years ago, if you were thrown into the original gate on Starside, you would end up coming out in the Urals (in the area of Romania). Hence our worlds Vampires were over there, and only if they escaped the underground cavern. But once through, they could not go back. At the Perchorsk Projekt, they accidently created another gate on our world, and the corresponding gate was located above the original one on starside. Now, if they threw you in the gate on Starside, you ended up in Perchorsk. One could now make a "round trip", so long as they went through each set of gates only one way. Harry, having gone through both gates to Starside, could not come back unless he figured out how to do it with the Mobius Coninuum. Kalixt Shawxo
  3. Favorite Hero... has to be without a doubt..... (insert drumroll here) Lardis Lidesci! Look at all he had been through, the loss of his family, protecting his clan of Szgany, never letting ANY threat go...and always being prepared to fight the Wamphyri! As a man, he was feared and respected by many a Lord and Lady who went up against him... if they admitted it or not. Favorite Villian... way too many I really did like, but I think Canker edges out ahead by a nose. The way that the "dog" part of him I think affected the Vampire in him, He seemed to have characteristics that others did not.. loyalty for one. Had he not been insane, he might have actually evolved into a Vampire who did NOT possess all the evil of the Wamphyi. Hmm, shades of the Dweller, who while being a Vampire because of an infected Wolf, he controlled his Vampirism...I think not only because of his great mental capacity, but from the Wolf in him as well. I now have to throw my hat in the ring of people who want more info about the Dweller. Kalixt Shawxo
  4. I think a film adaptation would be best done in a Japanese Anime-style. The drawings could be realistic, more "Ghost in the Shell"-like and not "Shreck"-like computer animation. The metamorpism problem would be solved, as well as the various creatures. Then it leaves voices, and casting a voice for a character opens up alot more actors than casting the role...as you could pick good actors who maybe couldn't physically do the role. Just a thought, Kalixt Shawxo
  5. Hmm, so far....as I have only just finished Bloodwars.... I would agree would have been Nana'a death and the means of it. And Nathan's inability to do anything about it....but in the end her death was instrumental. Kalixt Shawxo
  6. Ahh, yes.... but what do the Wamphyri know of true love? Nathan had Misha... and his powers, and no Leprosy! Kalixt Shawxo
  7. Hi, New guy chiming in here.... Harry was indeed the first NECROSCOPE, what I think a few are referring to with the references to the pastlike Jade pointed out: "As for speaking to the dead: that is something else entirely. Very few men have ever mastered that for a skill! - Necroscope, Page 166." That I think refers more to the Necromancy was that was known of, where men (vampires, etc) did indeed "talk" to the dead, it was a forced and torturous conversation. Not a willing pleasurable act as it was with Harry, and subsequently Nathan. Harry's Mother may have indeed had been able to gather something of a similar feel for the dead, but I don't think we ever saw enough to believe that she was in the same realm of power or use of that power as Harry had.
