FIREFOX BROWSER DIFFICULTY...
Aye - is a natty feature designed to stop images loading from sites other than the one you're on - basically a simple ad blocker... Trouble is it might get confused when an image on http://www.ebay.com is served from images.ebay.com. It shouldn't but then again nothing is certain... )

necroscope film
Hate to be a nit-picker... Who am I kidding, love it... Terry Gilliam did 12 Monkeys, Joel Schumacher did Lost Boys (Falling Down, Phone Booth, 8mm and the Batman Forever and Batman and Robin) LOL - just read Topol's post... Forget I said anything!

Ring any bells?
Only reason I mentioned it is because popular media is rife with programmes that is tapping into 'the beyond...' From short-lived programmes such as Dead Like Me and Tru Calling through to blockbusters like 6th Sense. The market is ripe for a big/small screen adaptation, just hope that those with the rights to the Nec movie don't drag their heels for too long and miss the boat...

Ring any bells?
You wait for years for a good I talk with dead people film or programme - and a bunch come along at once... 6th Sense, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, American Idol, Stannah Stairlift Commercials...

Ring any bells?

Saw Land of the Dead last night - Asia looks great and the film was pretty good in a cheesy way... Great to see Simon Pegg in a cameo too!

film 2006
Night watch is a cracking film, К сожалению, я пока не говорю по-русски, but dubbed was good as well - a cross between Highlander, Matrix (in a good way) and every adventure yarn since time immemorial... Hope you enjoy...

Bloodsuckers Treading the Boards...
Something like this, (with apologies to Survivor and Brian Lumey...) (To the tune of Eye of the Tiger) Risin' up, out of the crypt Did my time, in the darkness Chased some maidens, now I'm deep in my tomb Just a vamp and his will to survive So many times, I drank too much blood Indulged my passion for glory Don't lose your grip on the pale virgin's throat Never forget the Blood is the Life! Chorus: It's a vampire hunting, it's the dream of the flight Risin' up to the challenge of our rival And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night And he's watchin' us and the horror of our blight Face to face, out in the dark Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry They stack odds 'til we're staked through the heart For we kill with the skill to survive chorus Risin' up, straight to the top Have the guts, got the glory Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop Just a vamp and his will to survive [ April 28, 2006, 06:44 AM: Message edited by: Exsanguinator ]

Bloodsuckers Treading the Boards...
Looks like Elton John's being vilified by the NY papers for his musical adaptation of Ms Anne Rice's Vampire novels... I always thought the darkness and percieved tragedy of a vampyric existance would lend itself better to an opera than a Broadway musical - but then again I a fan of neither so what's my opinion matter? What do you think, vampire musicals good idea or bad, and any ideas of titles to the hit songs for a Necroscope musical?

film 2006
Got round to watching it (Saw II) last night. Didn't enjoy it as much as first but then again expectations were much higher - still plenty of deliciously cringing moments though... Now a big fan of the Amazon rental wotsit - had a ton of films out that I wouldn't have spent money to go and see and don't want to waste £10 to buy - most have been shite but hey, at least I didn't have to walk down the road and have my choices judged by local spotty inbreds!
