They've started showing the TV series again on the BBC, the first was on last night. Last time they showed them i caught the last 5 minutes of the last episode so gonna try a bit harder this time! Got to agree with GG about the sequels-would love to see them but worried about what would happen to the story without DNA.

went to see it today, as a big fan of the books i was a bit anxious but overall found it thoroughly enjoyable. Thought the added parts worked well and the original ideas were mostly even better than i imagined. Hoping for the rest of the books now!

i'm re-reading the books again and it's amazing how much you can forget so if you have a sieve-like head like me it can be a bit like re-discovering it!! Trying not to grab Avenger's to remind myself of the bit you're talking about as i'm still in Vampire World.

i do like the alan davies idea, not sure if he'd be 'right' for the role but, for me, it's between him and richard e grant and i think r.e.g is too big-although he did sink to argos ads...! I've always had a bit of a thing for davies anyway-which will explain a lot to anyone who's met hocopepa! Was enjoying the new series before i had to return to my tv-less room-just silly enough methinks, but billie seemed a bit wooden at times, i'm sure she'll improve as it goes on though.
