That's kinda what I said way back yonder when we first got onto these argument's over such things...My take on the whole thing is constricted by the author's vision and I believe that Brian defines the Leach as EVIL and that closes the argument for me but that's just my opinion....

If it was a real creature then it might be different but it's fiction and therefore isn't subject to normal rules and standards and that Evil, Good, Black and White are more easily defined and seperated unlike reality where there seems to be so many different shades of grey!!!

The Leech being good and evil wow, umm i am not sure how to answer that due to the fact that at one point it was said the Lesk the Gluts leech was insane but maybe he was already insane and that turned is leech insane... so who knows maybe the Leech only makes the person immortal and gives the person other special traits but its the person thats truly evil...

As for Harry was destined to become Wamphyri it was in his blood to become what he hunted...And i think given time he would of succumbed eventually...

As for Nestor now that was interesting...I think he was destined for it as well...I think Nathan got the good side of their father while Nestor got the bad...

As for going the saga i would very much love to see like a book detailing more information on various Wamphyri...like the Ferenczys i think theirs a missing link between Jemma Freydaskith and Ion Ferenc...and more information on some of the Ferenczys on Earth like Nonari, Belos, Waldemar and Angelo but can include more information on the others to...How about the Drakul brothers, we know really nothing about them...

Even Shaitans bloodline can be detailed a little...which side did Shaithis come from...

So maybe a companion book or whatever you would like to call it....

I also agree with Avengers being the end. It amazing that Brian got 13 successful books out of it as it is. How many other writers can do this, a few but not many. It comes down to excellent writing, story line and characterization, which I don't think anyone does better than Brian.

Now that Brian is...retired?? What sounds great to me is, a series of chap books about the back history of the Wamphyri. They're short, easy to write (easy for me to say), and they're cheap.

I'm thinking The BIG book of the Wamphyri a full history of the Master Vampire race and thier "EVIL" Leaches! ;)

It could be special edition wrapped in human skin, preferably facial so you can still see the agonised screams dying on the poor victims lips (I'm thinking we could use Anne Rice fans, not that I have anything against them but I think it would be a good statement and show people who the harder vamps are)
