August 3, 200322 yr comment_18623 When you re-read through the Necroscope Saga (as I know you do) in what order do you read them? Do you go through them in the recommended order (as they were released), or now you know the plots do you read them in a roughly chronological order slipping The Lost Years in between Wamphyri! and The Source? August 3, 200322 yr comment_18624 I still read em in the order they were published. I've been tempted to read them in chronoloigcal order, but never quite got round to it... Report
August 5, 200322 yr comment_18625 I read them in chronological order once, and almost forgot to read The Source. Oops. Report
August 5, 200322 yr comment_18626 I have read them in both, although I usually re-read them as they were published. Report
August 5, 200322 yr comment_18627 If I'm doing the whole series, I like to do them in chronological order, but quite often I pick one out at random (except Invaders, LOL!), especially if I want to cross-reference something for a newsletter article. I've been trying not to do that recently, as I want to go through the entire series from scratch again. Report
August 6, 200322 yr comment_18628 I did read them in chronological order once but prefere to do it in the order they were published. I think it fits better. Report
August 6, 200322 yr comment_18629 It's publication date for me. From #1 all the way to #13. However, when I go on holiday I usually take The Source with me because that's my favorite ... it fact it's the book that brought Brian and I together ... now that's fantasy story in itself ... or should I say nightmare. ! August 7, 200322 yr comment_18630 Every time I re-read Necroscope 1 to 13 I do it like it's the first time, so I have to read them in the order they were published. I feel that this is the only and definitive way to do it. Report
August 8, 200322 yr comment_18631 The order they were published... maybe next time I will throw the Lost Years in chronologically. Report
August 9, 200322 yr comment_18632 I am currently re-reading the series again and as normal I am doing it in publishing order .... Report
August 18, 200322 yr comment_18633 I thought about re-reading the Necroscope series in Chronological order, but then... I just read it in published order. lol, this must be my fourth re-read of the series, though I'm now near the end, have the last three to read. Sophie Report
August 19, 200322 yr comment_18634 chronologically... but sometimes i fish out Deadspeak and re read it coz i love it! Report
August 20, 200322 yr comment_18635 Yes deadspeak is great I really like the last two books of the first necroscope series, I kinda liked it when Harry turned in Wamphyri. arg I really want to read at the moment, but I can't... ( Sophie Report
August 26, 200322 yr comment_18636 I tend to read the novels in order of the publication. But I have a question and for all the newbies that might not have seen this question on a thread from years ago.......... Does or has anyone ever done a Wamphryi "tree" so to speak from Shaitan on down? I seem to remember someone mentioning that they were working one up but it never came about. August 26, 200322 yr comment_18637 If I put my mind to it, I would want to do family tree of the Wamphyri. It wouldn't surprise me if Brian hadn't already done one himself though. hmm might look into doing one very soon, Sophie Report
August 27, 200322 yr comment_18638 Sophie i know what you mean, i want to just get a book, deadspeak will do, get my pringles and read!!! Report

March 25, 200422 yr comment_18642 I try to read them in publication order. That said i've just picked up Defilers again so I guess I don't ! Report
June 13, 200421 yr comment_18643 I've just started Invaders, my first time reading them. Next time i think i'm gonna read them in chronological, i found it a bit confusing on the lost years trying to remember who Harry had given the true death to. When u guys re-read them, do u find u can read them slower or are they still as unputdownable as the first time? Report
June 13, 200421 yr comment_18644 Sadly,I've read the Necroscope Ser.only once. I don't get much time to read and i have a hard time keeping up with all the other books i wish to read. But WHEN i do i'm going to try chronological. Report
June 14, 200421 yr comment_18645 Always a bit of a slow start for me when I re-read them but once I get going on the Necroscope series I do tend to pick a frantic pace and by the time I get to the Vampire world trilogy it just seems a complete blur as I just can't help racing through the pages like my life depended upon it. Report
June 14, 200421 yr comment_18646 I just re read the Vampire world Trilogy so that was great but it wasn't long ago when i read the first 5. i now have the first 10 books in US print! Report
October 26, 200421 yr comment_18647 I'm a read them as they were published sort of girl. Though I have gone through and just read the Vampire World Trilogy by its lonesome. As well as the E-Branch trilogy. I'd just prefer to go from start to finish. Report
