ok ok i read those scenes and all but i wass mainly question by power alone but if that how you want to take it....nathen gets alot more action in that department siggi, misha, umm that chick in Maglore's place, Zek thought he was cute or something like that too. Plus doesn't Nestor have leprasy now or something? yea cause i really want that. the most nathan might have is aids cause of siggi, hehe j/k nathan is cool

Nestor is very bad! After everything, he'd still think he could get Misha back! After what he tried? No way! Yeah, I know, he couldn't remember, but I still hate him.

im with Hubris on this, the equation alone is enough for me...so Nathan it is.

But Vampires know how to have fun, you have to admit. But as a Vamphire I would rather be a Mentalist, like Maglore.

That and the Wamphyri are always some of my favourite parts of the books. Theyre so evil you cant help but love them.

Nathan no contest. Necroscopy or Wratha I would choose Necroscopy...it is a hard decision though.

Although I definitely liked Nestor more in every way, I would give anything and everything away for use of the mobius continuum. There is just no greater power. When I was a kid I used to tear my hair out trying to decide which I would prefer out of being able to turn myself invisible or being able to fly. I never could decide, I thought that they would just be the two best powers any person could have. Then I read the necroscope books and invisibility and flight paled into insignificance when compared to using the Mobius continuum.

Nestor's jealousy of Nathan didn't endear him to me. Nathan's abilities, deadspeak and mobius continuum makes him tops!

It would have been Nestor for me, but I failed on the fancy dress costume last halloween, so he's out!! Imagine trying to conjure up the Mobius C while everyone can see you. Unfortunately, I had my eyes shut at the time thinking that no one could see me!! little did I realise it was merely the surprise of the slivovitz taking over. Guess I'll have to try as Nathan this year, then!!!!!!!!!!

wow.. so i posted this a long time ago and its still getting people's attention cool. come now guys the F*** scene with wratha was great and all but ummmm yea keep in mind leprosy and nester is so obsessed wth nathan it almost gay....nathan just wants to kill him so think about...........gay man who wants his brother and has a disease, or straight man who no matter where he goes some one wants him. The thyre girl, misha, siggi, orlea, zek. who has nester had? carman, wratha, the girl in the cabin and thralls?? yea cause they all turned out just great. Carman was sent out to die (hehe) wratha is screwed, the girl no longer alive, and thralls well their mindless idiots.

Well,

I have always had a cirtain affection for all of the Wamphyri....(The most EVIL creatures I have read about to date)......but him being Harry Keoghs son and the fact that he fits into the role of a Lord of the Wamphyri so quickly and easily....(compared to Nathan who takes years to fit into his role in things)......I pick Nestor hands down.....but thats just me and my tendancy to choose evil over good

First off, I must agree with Canker.

 

It never once entered my mind that Nestor had any insestually homosexual desires for Nathan. At least five readings of the Vampire World Trilogy and never once... please tell me you're joking.

 

But I've got to give it to you where Nathan is concerned... it does seem he's gettin' most of the killer action, at least where hot chicks in quantity are concerned.

 

But if this is just a contest of who got the best end of the p*s*y rations, I've got to go with Nestor. Gimme one extremely hot Wamphyri Lady over even 20 of the hottest human females!

Nathan for me. The deadspeak, all the knowledge of the world at your finger tips and you haven't gotta touch something riddled with maggots to get it. Teleportation, you could become the worlds best bank robber or private detective - depending on your personal taste.

 

And of course the women. Personally, I like my woman (singular, I only need one) not to have clay cold flesh... But what ever floats ya boat

Nestor for me - because despite the monster in him, he achieves redemption in the end and manages to retain his humanity in some instances. Good way to go!

Hmmm. What I've noticed about Nestor is that after he found out about his leprosy, he kept himself to himself, and it seemed as though it was not out of self-preservation, but out of a certain amount of care and respect, especially for wratha and canker, his lover and his friend. And he had a friend. Not easy among the Wamphyri. It really seems that there are warring selves within Nestor, and while he's a destroyer, he is a son of Harry, and it shows. And isn't it appropriate that it is his jealousy and hatred that gets him into the Leprosy situation?

I also have to say that Nathan has a far better, stronger mind than Harry, and he's just a hell of a lot smarter! Harry gets hit on the head a lot. A lot. Maybe that's why he didn't think too much before going to his doom. His natural brain cells were out of order...

 

But in the end i have to pick Nestor...just because he's so dark. I love the scene in the heather after he takes Glina.

 

Now, if it came down to which character I'd be, then I'd be Devetaki or Karen. Karen got to f***k the Necroscope as Wamphyri! Devetaki was incredibly intelligent. It's a toss up, very hard for me to decide!

I'd go with Nathan, for the deadspeak. Being able to have extra powers given by the dead (ala wellesly or any others), being able to win almost ANY debate, with anyone, simply by calling out for an expert in the field you're debating. Oh, and I'd definitely call in a favor and have the top minds of the past come up with a working lightsaber.
