June 19, 200619 yr comment_20824 I find the ones I buy at the shops are in worse condition normally than from Amazon with all those grubby hands on them and pushing them back onto the shelf you must have been lucky LV Report
June 19, 200619 yr comment_20826 I'd be more than happy to send it to you Chris, but considering your on the other side of the pond, you'd probably have yours before mine got to you. Besides, whats it cost to send a book over there? Oh hell, Give me your address and I'll check into it. Report

This particular store had 3 copies all in great shape. Report
June 19, 200619 yr comment_20828 Bugger, just had an e-mail from Amazon, (Our current estimate is that it will take an additional 1-2 weeks to obtain these items for you. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes.) Not as sorry as i am. [ June 19, 2006, 02:50 PM: Message edited by: Kenny ] Report

June 20, 200619 yr comment_20833 Yep, it's annoying. I'm just wondering if we're gonna have to wait longer with Amazon. I expect the book would have been released in the UK by the time we get good news from them!! Ever the optimist, me! __________________________________________________ Me Transmitte Sursum, Caledoni!! Spike - (The Uncivil Servant @ Taunton) Report

June 23, 200619 yr comment_20835 Horray for Amazon, received a message today that The Touch has now been dispatched. Waiting with anticipation. Report
June 24, 200619 yr comment_20836 Joeann, if you don't want to order it from Amazon you can get it through Waterstones. I have it on good authority that a few of the bigger shops actually do have it on the shelves, but even if they don't Waterstones can order it for you from America, it takes about 2 weeks Report

June 25, 200619 yr comment_20841 Can anyone tell me is 'The Touch' the first part of another series or is it a standalone story? Report
June 25, 200619 yr comment_20842 It is part of the Necroscope series but as far as I'm aware (not having recieved my copy yet) it is not going to be a series within the series like the Vampire World, it's just one book Report

June 26, 200619 yr comment_20844 Thx for the answer silver - I was gonna hold off if it was part of another series like the vampire world or e-branch books cos I cant stand the wait between books once I'm into them but sounds like I'm ok to get this one Report
