Wow, what an ending!!!! I could not put this book down. Brian Lumley you are one amazingly clever man, my hat off to you sir! Can't wait for my copy of The Touch to arrive!!!!

It's probably the second best 'set' of books, next to the Vampire World Trilogy. Personally, I was a bit disappointed with the end. It seemed a little, er, hurried, if I may say!!

I know what you mean but when you compare it to other authors who try to do the same type of ending (sewing everything up neatly in half a chapter) then it seems to be better handled than most and still left me feeling good about the whole epic.

Oh yeah Sue, I agree. I wasn't being detrimental about it at all. I just kinda felt that Mr L was under a bit of pressure from Publisher's to get the thing done & dusted. I know what that feels like! Still, agree with you about the whole trilogy. A damned site better than a lot of the drivel being offered today.

It actually made me sad and teary eyed. I'd been reading the books for years and not only was it the end of the line. But the long fight ending in that way just choked me up a bit. It stayed with me for a while. I'm such a baby.

I had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes too, I remember reading the Necrosope when I was 18 many moons ago and it was the first thing I found out I had in common with my husband (then mate). so the whole saga has been with me for most of my formative years! Husband started me off on Mr L, he likes the Cthulu Mythos and Titus Crow stuff but it's always been Necroscope for me!

If you wanna sob, you go ahead girl!!!!!! :D
