Why ruin excellant art work no disrespect intended but the covers I've seen before are so awesome that it makes me scratch my head and wonder why mess with perfection

The polish covers aren't exactly Da Vinci's, are they?

I think that the covers look okay, its weird seeing it in polish though.

strange covers dont know what to make of that

what prompted the change of cover for the polish fans ?

::shudders:: Those are just weird looking. I'm not even sure what to say about them... creepy. I'll stick with my tor covers, those look neat at least. And the spelling is weird... could just be a polish thing though.

I'm not going to say for certian, but it could just be publishing thing. I mean over here Tor does the covers and they're diffrent from the covers over in England. So perhaps if it changed publishing for Polad they decided to do the covers themselves too. Who knows for sure.

anyways it could be the other way around with the polish having the original covers and them thinking our covers looked odd ........jus had a thought what if we had them covers to start with

those are actually the covers of the second edition.

 

first edition (first five books only) was published by Phantom Press from 1992 through 1993. you can see thumbnails of the covers here:

(it's a link to a finished auction so i don't know how long it will last)

 

those first edition covers are pretty cool i think (compared to the "new" ones).

 

with the second edition we finally get to know the following story as the sixth and seventh parts are being published just this year.

Yes, you are correct. The series was started over again by a new publisher.

i like the older cover more then the new one.

i think the the first edition covers (polish ) look like cartoons ,ya know the ol saying if it aint broke

check out the german ones they are even better
