February 13, 200422 yr comment_23344 But not at the start of the cycle, he's described as fortyish, and it's not like the Wamphyri age physically is it. Plus when he does change in appearence because he's been trapped up in the icelands and has wasted away to a more basic form, it's into a huge leech not an old man. February 13, 200422 yr comment_23345 Hi everyone. That's why I thought Irons would make a great Vormulac. Remeber the sad remake of The Time Machine recently? His character sort of looked vampiric in nature and it made me think of Vormulac. William Defoe (spelling here) I think would make a great Lesk the Glut! Sex crazed and just crazy in general. Of course all these characters couln't be tied into one film but how about Famke Janssen as our favorite half mask wearing DEVETAKI SKULLGUISE??!! Huh? Huh?! Report
February 13, 200422 yr comment_23346 Oooh thats just give me an idea, what about Eliza Dushka (probable spelling error) done up as Wratha DROOOOOOOOL And a big HI back to you to Cankster [ February 13, 2004, 11:19 AM: Message edited by: The Helm ] Report
February 13, 200422 yr comment_23347 I agree with you Tops, Christoper Lee has to be there just because he's Christoper Lee, he will always get my vote. Report
February 13, 200422 yr comment_23348 Christopher Lee is a MUST! But he is like ancient now and not moving as fast as he used to so maybe he could be someone like Dramal Doomsbody? Or maybe one of the Original Dracul Brothers exiled to our Earth? Report
February 13, 200422 yr comment_23349 Eliza Dushku ! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I think we could fit her in somewhere... Wratha, Carmen, SHIELAR the SLUT...I only wish or maybe LADY URSULA TORSPAWN Report
February 13, 200422 yr comment_23350 Gary Oldman is always good at 'bad', he needs to be in there somwehere! Report
February 13, 200422 yr comment_23351 Yes my Dear GOTH! You are soooo correct! It will be interesting to see him place the dark character Siruis Black in the new Harry Potter movie coming out in June. He is one of my favorite actors. Maybe as Canker? Or Nestor? Or Wran the rage as he raged pretty well in the Bram Stroker Dracula movie Report
February 14, 200422 yr Author comment_23352 Silver - you rock my world - you agree with me! but eevrything will have to wait until I have seen my dad. Haven't seen him for 2 years, and now he visits So sorry for being off topic, but there are people I should have conacted before! Sorry again! Tops oh - we need to get Matt Le Blanc in there! - on topic? Report
February 14, 200422 yr comment_23353 Just a pet peeve here - but I'd like to see a blanket ban on stick-insects... The female vamps are almost all written with figures (or at least that's how I saw them in my mind's eye) and I really cannot see the likes of Calista Flockhart radiating sexuality as the Wamphyri Ladies do. And with the exception of Ann-Marie English, none of the human female characters need a wonderbra. As for actors - I'd like to see Lance Henriksen in there, and Max von Sydow - he did a great job as the Diabolical in Needful Things and has the gravitas need for a role like, say, Faethor... I can just imagine him watching the skies during the bombing with knowledge that he may well have come to the end of hisnot-so mortal coil... Report
February 14, 200422 yr comment_23354 Christopher Lee has to be there in some form ... Gary Oldman another good one. How about Chris Eccleston as pre-Kyle Harry? Watched him again in 28 Days Later and I reckon he'd be pretty good. Eliza Dushku good fit in anywhere IMHO!!!??? Report
February 16, 200422 yr Author comment_23356 Max Von Sydow.... Yeah baby, he could even wear his Ming costume. He was the most evil man ever when I was about 5 or 6 or something We shoudl get Sigourney Weaver in there somewhere as she'd make a pretty good wamphyri - she tall and stuff. February 16, 200422 yr comment_23357 I agree Christopher Lee should be in it, his voice would be most beneficial. When I think of what way Shaitan would sound I can definately hear Mr/Sir Lee. Sigourney Weaver certainly does have those elements but where would she fit in?..... Mad American mentioned before Daniel Day Lewis, how about him as Nestor? I am thinking for and against it myself but what does anybody else think? Report
February 17, 200422 yr comment_23358 I know someone who would be PERFECT for Shaitan or Shaithis, or Malinari. He's not an actor, and is a lead singer of this band called Type-0-Negative. Ok, here is the picture, he's 6.8!!! Very muscular, around 42 years old (but looks 33 at the most), has long black hair to his ass, and is drop dead gorgeous (drools and dies on the floor) I mean I have pictures to prove is anyone wants to see! I drooled all over him practically when i went to see Type-0 in london back in June. I was right near the front being such a girlie squeeling groupie! He nodded at me three times throughout the show making eye contact and I was so proud, I was happy for next two weeks Sophie [ February 23, 2004, 10:03 PM: Message edited by: Sophie ] Report

I think Johnny Depp in most of the more feminine male roles in the Necroscope would work. He's so versatile, and pretty (somebody needs to slap me out of groupie mode, it was all the talk of Pete Steele, that got me all hot and bothered!) Sophie Report
February 24, 200422 yr comment_23363 Hmm.. I have never heard of Pete Steele. The yulian Bodescu part would be tough to fill; how about the main star from American Psycho? (forgive me I don't know his name) he was also in the film Shaft, he was the main bad one in it. C'mon you know who I'm talking about  Trying to remember his name is going to bug me all day. I think his mane is Christian bayle or Bail. Report
February 24, 200422 yr comment_23364 Sorry!, name (too many brain frying lectures today has left me unable to spell correctly) Report
February 25, 200422 yr comment_23365 Pete Steele cracks me up, Hes hilarious. One of my all time favourite iconic frontmen. What's he doing now? He'd make a good Vamphyri lord , you're right. He may have to ditch the german helmet and the pink feather boa though. His voice is perfect. Report
February 26, 200422 yr comment_23366 the psycho from american psycho too old..hmm maybe giovanni ribisci? if you don't know who he is he's in the mod squad, boiler room and he played pheobe's bro in friends.. he might be alright as yulian.. Report
February 26, 200422 yr comment_23367 Juss bin finkin of the ideal person to play Faethor, it's the guy who's the baddie in The Crow and Guy of Gisbourne in Robin Hood prince of theives. Can't fink of his name but he's in loads of stuff and he definately looks the part and he's got the deep croaky voice as well. Report
