Hey everyone! I want to Thank You for all the warm welcome wishes! Means alot to me I can already tell this is a fantastic site with some of the best people on the net! And I'll be back in to post on the other forum threads,and get to know you all more! I've just finished NECROSCPOPE II VAMPHRYI! These books are so wicked sweet to read! Brian Lumley is a phenomenal writer,a master storyteller,and amazing visual artist ,which is one thing in particular I love about him already. I cannot get enough of these books! I've already turned on a friend from Fearnet.com to this series,he's just bought the first 3 books to read! I can't wait to pick his brain NECROMANCER STYLE *giggles* , as soon as he gets into the read. I'm starting THE SOURCE today. My dream would be to meet Brian someday,and thank him personally! Ah! The Source. Probably everyone's favourite book, next to the original Necroscope. You will enjoy, I'm sure.

The Source is indeed a good book but the Vampire World triology takes some beating for me Christopher

Thank you indeed, Mr Peter! VW trilogy as a set is indeed awesome. It's difficult to choose between them, but as an individual book (without giving any spoilers) it has to be The Source. Ah, heck, she'll enjoy the lot from the sound of things!!

Suggestiong to ya Dragoness: If you manage to get a hold of the whole series, read Lost years books 1 and 2 before you get to The Source! It kinda covers the in-between times chronologically between Vamphyrii and The Source...

Ooooooooooooooooooooh not sure there Vamp Mom it would spoil so much if you did that and I think it would take away from the source and more importantly the Vampire World books......my suggestion would be too read them in the order they were written....but hey that is just my opinion!!!

Yeah, I think it is best to read them in the chronological order that they first appeared.

 

However, I recently read all the stories up to The Touch again and this time I left the Lost Years to last and found that other than a few references to these books it did not feel like I had missed something along the way.

Re reading them I found it good to read Lost years before The Source, but for a first time reader then I would do as Helmet suggests, and read them in the order they were written.

if you read it that way you may end up destroying everything Mesmer and The Majority had tried to do
